Trader’s Coffee House – Yum!
We stopped by for a quick drink and bite, and a few to go goodies this week. The shop is clean, the staff were very friendly and service was quick. They have a lot of drink and pastry options, including vegan and gluten free for dietary restrictions.
For $36, we had a large cold brew, small hot chocolate, two pumpkin muffins, one donut muffin and one chocolate chunk cookie. All very tasty!
The restroom was clean, as was the establishment and the team members were all very friendly.
This was our first stop at Trader’s Coffee House and we’ll absolutely return!

It was a busy/ crowded experience, with limited parking and a bit of a confusing entrance, but ordering was easy on the kiosk, service was fast, and the coffee was absolutely worth the packed atmosphere. There is a reason so many people flock to this place. The product and service are great. I’d still recommend taking it to go.

Very cute coffee shop offering a wide variety of drinks with many substitutions. Gluten free options for pastries, alternatives for milk, and willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The servers were all ready and willing to take our order, and were very friendly and sweet! Shout out to Jewel for being awesome definitely will come back when I’m in the area

This coffee place is awesome, they have anything you want for breakfast. We were on vacation for a few days in the area, so this was our place to get coffee, pastries & other things. The cold brew was really good, lemon blueberry pound cake, blueberry muffin & blueberry croissant all delicious. On our last day we had bagel & lox, it has plenty of lox but it needs a little bit more of cream cheese, other than that the flavor was great. Also, we order a breakfast sandwich in a wrap sausage, egg & cheese. It tastes really good but the portions were small. They have indoor & outdoor seating. All the staff were super nice & friendly! Definitely will come back, if we are in the area!

I love in DC and we just built a house on the lake. My first time coming here was a few years ago before the house and can’t remember but FF we came here and got our espresso drinks and some bakery items. They are so good! So much better than what DC offers and the people are so friendly and I love that. People look at you funny and act like you’re the problem when you’re the customer in DC lol. I love nice people. They are NEVER overrated in my book. As far as quality goes you will find that here.

I stopped here back to back days for breakfast while in Deep Creek for a work trip. It was easy to get to with plenty of parking. A lovely couple outside directed us into the correct door. The entire shop is charming as can be, and every employee we interacted with was extremely courteous. I saw the selection of baked goods change each day, which told me just how innovative their team is. Everything displayed looks so appetizing, my boyfriend and I ended up leaving with a box of 7 pastries to celebrate our last day of the trip. Their coffees, both iced and hot were delicious. Their coffee machine behind the counter is impressive in itself, but you can also taste the quality and care in all their drinks. I’m sure there can be quite a line during the busy season but with only a handful of customers, our order of sandwiches, coffees and pastries were out in 5 minutes.
Lastly, but not least—the employee who filled our order on the first day was also working the second day and greeted us with the biggest smile and the most cheerful “Welcome back!” I will absolutely be back here when I come back up for work!

This is a very loud and busy coffee shop. The coffee itself is pretty good! The iced coffee is a bit watery so I would recommend the cold brew. The baristas forgot one of our drinks so we were there for well over 10 minutes waiting. This is not a quick stop and go for coffee! The sizes are also bizarre. A medium cold brew is bigger than a medium iced coffee. Huh?

The breakfast wrap and breakfast bagel sandwich were just OK. Both coffees were made incorrectly. It was disappointing all around. The baked goods looked great but we decided not to return to try them.

Always a wonderful experience! Great people, drinks, and food. Bagels always from NY– Brenda wouldn’t have it any other way!
9/21/22: returned twice over the weekend and the shop is still serving great food and drinks. A little less seating inside, but plenty of seats outside to enjoy your drink. I had the mocha with extra espresso– delicious ! Pumpkin cookie and chocolate croissant were also excellent.

This coffee shop was so cute and has such a nice view of the water! I got the autumn latte and it was so yummy! It’s a reasonably priced place for the location. The pumpkin muffin was also delicious. I definitely recommend sitting outside or walking across to the water and sitting on the bench there to enjoy the views. Would definitely recommend!
