Stayed for a week at Hotel Republic. Trade restaurant is right next to the reception area inside the hotel. The hotel charges a daily 25$ fee and one of the perks from that is you can eat either at this restaurant or Topside on the floor above, with 25$ daily refund, even the morning you checkout – just need to charge it to your room. I was always having proper meals outside, but showed up 4 times during my stay here just to get something extra. Really liked their soup of the day – it was creamy potato the night I went. The steak fries plate is very oily and a huge size too. The breakfast burrito was okay. The hummus was really good. The staff are all very friendly.

We were staying at the hotel and with our Marriott status, we received vouchers for breakfast. Conveniently located in the hotel lobby, the service was good and the food was great. The had a good size menu with your typical breakfast items along with a handful of creative dishes. I stayed simple and ordered the Sunrise Special (choice of eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon or sausage and toast – sourdough, mulit-grain or gluten free) and my wife ordered the Daybreak Parfait (greek yogurt, poppy seeds, seasonal fruit, house made granola, berry compote). We also ended up sharing the Banana French Toast. Everything was great and prepared perfectly! Great choice if you’re staying at the hotel or even nearby!

Tried beyond meat burger for dinner, and french toast for breakfast. Both meals were 6/10, edible but flavour wasn’t anything special.
Service was also okay, we had one bartender at night and he was super nice, attentive. Breakfast servers were all chatting, laughing amongst themselves and didn’t really care for clients. I waited almost 15 minutes for a server to take my order in the morning, and the menu isn’t large nor was it busy.
Overall, eat there if you must, but it’s really nothing special in food or service.
