Stopped here on our way from MI to NY and truly stumbled upon a gem. Yes, they were a little short staffed and the food took longer than expected, but hey that’s because it was cooked with care. Best omelette I’ve ever had! My friends who got burgers loved their food too. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.

I stopped and ordered a small chef salad and paid $6.50 to go. I left a 20% tip and had no problem with the waitress. There was only one other person in the business. It was not like it was packed. The menu said the salad came with the usual lettuce/onion/cheese/tomato/egg/ham/turkey. I was coming through Belv. to go home to Milan. I got home and discovered I purchased a dinner salad or so I have to assume which is $3.25. The salad had barely a handful of lettuce and 1/2 egg and cheese/tomato/onion–NO MEAT. That is not a chef salad by any means and $6.50 for a dinner salad was overpriced. I called to notify them of the mistake and all the manager could tell the waitess that the next time I stop I could get another small chef salad for half price. I told her that was unacceptable for me to drive all the way from Milan to Belv. and back for a small chef salad and pay half price when I had already paid $6.50 for a small dinner salad. I finally asked the waitress to tell the owner to contact me that evening and we needed to discuss this. I waited for her to return my call and she never did. I called back and the waitress said she was too tired from working and was home for the night and would call me the next day. I told the waitress that I was going to be busy that Saturday. I had a lot to do and I was not going to sit by my home phone–I do not have a cell phone and wait for her to call me. I asked the waitress for her name and phone number and she could not give it to me. This is the poorest way of compensating a customer I have ever dealt with. I was told the next time I came in they would give me a salad. I informed her that I would not be coming through Belv. for another 4 months and would be April. I am sure they were going to remember me and I was entitled to a free small chef salad. Mind you I also order a triple club sandwich with this salad as I was planning on making the salad a meal the following day. My bill came to $14.05 for a club sandwich and a small dinner salad. This is not the way you treat customers if you expect to have them come back. I had been there twice before. The first time I had no problems with my sandwich but my friend ordered sausage and gravy over biscuits and the gravy was drowning in black pepper. So bad she chocked on her first bite and said she could not eat it and left the meal. I told her to complain but she didn’t. I stopped the second time and I thought the chef’s salad was very filling and good and that is why I made a point to return. I guess not. Don’t go there as they do not want to make it right. I even left my name and address and phone number and told the waitress to have them mail me my refund. They can’t do that either. CROOKS!!! I will report them to the BBB. Follow up to my previous comment. I waited for the manager to call me the next day as she said she would. She never called and I waited. I called and was given her number and o ask for Tiffany. Tiffany was not there and she never called like she said. I asked if she could call me and she said she was not available. I asked the person if she could handle my complaint and she hung up on me. I was very polite with this lady but obviously they will not take care of their customers as a good business should do. I am stuck with a $6.50 dinner salad that has a hand full if that of wilted lettuce and no meat and it was definitely not the size of a small chef salad. I have never been treated so horribly by a business and one who refuses to make things right with their customers. If I had known how I was being treated I would not have left even a 20% tip to the waitress because all she really needed to do is take my order and hand it to me. Of course, it is not the waitresses fault. Perhaps someone should inspect the order before it goes out because the chef doesn’t know the difference between a dinner/small chef or a large chef salad. If I didn’t live over 1/2 hour away I would bring it back but then it is wilted and I am sure they would turn around and serve it to another customer.

Wow. We are out of towners that stopped for breakfast with two little kids. The waitress was nice to the kids. She took our order then just let us wait 40 min without saying anything until we noticed she was serving food to the locals that came in after us. Then we got ready to leave and she said “we don’t have any eggs”. We ordered a kid’s order of eggs, the rest of our food still could have been made. Then we still had to pay for the coffee! Do not recommend.

Thank you Tyler! After a long day at Cedar Point we were absolutely starving, and everything was closed. Not wanting fast food, we ventured out half an hour (towards our hotel) in hopes that we would find food. We saw this on Google maps and weren’t sure that the 24 hour note was true, but arrived to find it open. Very excited, we entered and noticed only one man doing all the work, and two tables already happily seated and chatting. We happily browsed through the many 24 hour breakfast options and made our selections. The service was fast and friendly, no frills, but high-quality service, especially for midnight on a Saturday on a holiday weekend. I need to emphasize that not only was Tyler (our server/chef/bus boy/cashier) very attentive, but he was fast and friendly, and a great cook! On top of all of that, he was happy to engage in a little chitchat with us, and very happy with his job. Overall, a very positive experience, and a saving grace for a starving traveler, late night, in the middle of nowhere ❤️

Nice little place for usual American food. Waitress was nice and the place was very clean. Their sausage Patties were very good! Will go back when in the area.

A hidden gem.
We fancied something different after leaving Cedar Point tonight and we love going to non chain diners.
This place was 30 minutes away from the park, but well worth the drive.
Food was excellent.
The lady behind the counter and the chef were really friendly.
Well worth a visit and the drive out.

Train themed diner nearby Norfolk Southern Bellevue Rail Yard. Ventured out to see the sights of the rail yard and as luck had it we found this unassuming lIttle diner which pays tribute to the trains.
Simple, small diner open 24 hours. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger. It was cooked just right and tasty with the waffle fries I chose. The towering club sandwich was a hit too!
Nothing fancy here but good grub, good prices and a nice wait staff! Check it out when you’re in town to see some trains!

I would rate this place zero stars if it were possible. I was from out of town and stopped in with my friend for some dinner. The waitress made it known she didn’t want to be there and was very short. The lack of care was obvious. We decided to order our food to-go and waited about 15 minutes. There was only one other person sitting at the counter and it felt like he was a regular or a friend of theirs because his service was totally opposite of ours. They were friendly and joking with him, while short and rude to us. I got chicken tenders and fries with an order of fried mushrooms. The fries were so limp and soggy they were barely edible. The chicken tenders were also very soggy and the breading wasn’t fully fried, same goes for the mushrooms.
