I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi dinner. My husband ordered the chicken dinner. His chicken was still raw on the inside. I told the waiter and she got the manager. They didn’t bother looking at the chicken. After letting her know it was completely raw it took three tries to get the chicken completely removed. Why pay for raw chicken if we not going to eat it. Thank you to the waiter sorry that was our experience with bad food. The service was amazing!

No complaints here. The staff is friendly, attentive and provide fast service. I ordered 2 vegetable rolls. Simple and delicious (a great option for vegetarians and vegans)
If you have the time, I recommend sitting at the hibachi grill. The Chefs are great and especially amazing with you get kids.

Quite impressed based on my expectations. The food, the portions, the service, and the prices were all superb. The sushi quality was much better than expected given that it’s a hibachi place. Prices were extremely reasonable. The portion sizes were large. If you don’t want a large portion and don’t want to take anything home, split a full meal for $8. Food tasted great. Service from the waiter was phenomenal. About the half the tables had very charismatic chefs (talking, playing games with the kids) and half did not (just cooked, not much games, not much talking). I’ll be returning here.

Great service and amazing food!! Portions were very generous. We got the salmon teriyaki and spicy tuna sushi, both were so delicious.

During my recent visit to Toyama Japanese Steak House, I had a mixed dining experience. The highlight was definitely the sushi – we ordered the ‘Pretty Woman’, ‘Rainbow’, and ‘Philadelphia’ rolls. Each of these selections was quite good, offering a satisfying taste of what the restaurant’s sushi menu has to offer.
However, the overall Japanese cuisine experience was average – not particularly outstanding, but not disappointing either. For appetizers, we tried the calamari and fried soft-shell crabs. The calamari was a pleasant surprise, cooked well with a nice flavor. Unfortunately, the fried soft-shell crabs were a different story. They were unappetizing to the point where we couldn’t eat them. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, we were still charged the full price for this dish, which was a bit disheartening.
In conclusion, Toyama Japanese Steak House offers decent sushi options but has room for improvement in other areas of their menu and customer service, particularly in how they handle customer feedback on their dishes.

We had a group of 5 adults and 2 toddlers for dinner on a Sunday night. The chef was very entertaining for the kids and the food was cooked great! Our hostess was so sweet and attentive as well. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I walked in at the beginning of the dinner rush. We got a regular table right away! I enjoyed my Rainbow Roll and my husband enjoyed the Downtown roll.
I couldn’t help but share a piece of the beautiful epoxy art in the entry way.

I dined in and took my cousin here because he loves sushi. He enjoyed his roll and I enjoyed the chicken, noodles, and vegetable dish. Service was great! It was nice to hear the hibachi shows at neighboring tables.

Food is always good, been going to this location for Hibachi for years.
Never really had an issue with the chefs but there’s one hibachi chef that takes the theatrics too far. We’ll still be going here for food but my family will likely avoid the hibachi grill itself

Had sukiyaki steak, fried rice & veggies. Enjoyed a cold Corona with lime. Staff brought me an ice cream with a candle for my birthday! Food is a little pricey but on special occasions I come with my family for the experience of food being prepared right in front of us!
