It was very good.. I had the chicken fried steak w/mashed potatoes and green beans and my bf had the 12oz kc strip. It would have been even better if we hadn’t have waited until closing time to order a pickup order but that was our bad..thanks Towne Pub!! We’ll be trying those ‘Best in town’ Cheeseburgers next time..bet.

Our latest go-to place! Food is great. Small venue in size ( I believe capacity is 46) but food is HUGE in flavor! Decor is fun – vintage signs & photos. The bar is gorgeous! Folks are very nice as are the regulars. We’ve had eat-in and to go. Both were delicious.

Absolutely love this place! Small family operation. They make almost everything the way my family used to! Very affordable with excellent value and daily specials. Great burgers, chicken fried steak, fried chicken, cold sandwiches, steak, small salad bar, ribs on Saturdays, etc. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Everyone is warm and friendly and take great care of you. Just about everything tastes homemade, because it is.

What a diamond in the ruff here. Great little midwest vibe with awesome food and great prices. Service is fast, friendly and always with a smile. I’ve only been in town a couple of weeks and have had lunch here about 3 times. Menu is simple but has something for everyone. Cheaper than most fast food spots in todays economy and twice as good. Definite plans to come back.

Great food and friendly home town vibe. This is no fast food joint, but the food and service is fast. Very quaint mom and pop feel, something you’d find in Mayberry. You can’t go wrong on anything you order. They have daily specials. Prices are great !! If you go once, you’ll be back. Dine in or take out.

It can be hard to be guided by Google reviews, especially as a visitor. This is a perfectly fine local restaurant if you enjoy Midwest-style cuisine with no frills. If you think the high ratings means this place is similar in quality to Luigi’s or the Suburban, then you’ll be fooled.

Loved the burger I had and the onion bites were crispy with great flavor. Only complaint from the whole experience was that the coke machine needed to be recalibrated the carbonation was off and had a funny taste to it, stick to water!
