Bartender didn’t know what an old fashioned was, or what simple syrup was. People at the bar were cool but the bartender was talking shit about me and my friend when we were trying to be as kind as possible about drinks that…. weren’t our favorites. We were saying “oh it’s okay don’t worry about it” *fake smiling* and we hear the bartender talking about us bitching about how we’re complaining on things. Then my friend says, loudly, that he is stepping out for a smoke. And the bartender tried to accuse me saying “hey your buddy, is he coming back?” And I say “yeah he just went out for a smoke”, but I continue to be chastitized about it like the bartender didn’t believe me. I’m sorry, do you mistake me as daft? If we were going to split, and we would never, one of us wouldn’t stay here. Especially not to take that kinda bullshit. Anyway, we’re trying to be lenient so we still tipped well and all. And we’d love to come back, but not if that bartender is working again.

EDT: Stopped in after work for a beer. Best atmosphere on a weeknight in the city of Hamilton y’all! If y’all ain’t stopped in, check this place out. Tracy is a gem of a bartender!

It is always a great visit when stopping by this small old school bar.
The owners are friendly as well as the staff and patrons. This isn’t a pub for dining though, although they have a few snacks.

Have a great quaint place. Very quiet for being a bar, with nice people. Haven’t tried the food but what I hear is very good! We’ll be going back!

Great prices! The service was quite welcoming. Definitely a smaller crowd, giving it that small town kinda vibe. Wasn’t too busy when i was there. A good place to grab a couple of drinks by yourself.

Great local bar that called a cab after my car was towed to the auto repair shop. Would drink here again! The bartender was nice and made good conversation while waiting for the cab that never appeared. Thank you for attempting to get me home.
