Lamb shank was the winner. The steak tartare was lean but not very flavorful, I expected the rouille of bouillabaisse to be more orange/coper colored, here it is was more of a seafood broth. The duck cassoulet was very good (the duck was pre-fried) and so were the desserts, candied apple with ice cream and a pavlova.

I take delight in reviewing this establishment, housed within the beautiful Inn at Hastings Park, in Lexington, MA. Service was attentive and thorough coming from a friendly staff from host to the waiters. The ambiance is modern, rustic yet beautifully, adorned with old-world charm.
The food, every night, was a delicious delicacy of taste paired to take the pallet on an adventure of flavors. The temperature was perfect with every bite, and the plating and presentation were beautiful. We loved every meal, from salad to dessert.
Thanks to Tricia, the owner, and the team for creating such a beautiful dining experience.
We are sure to return.

If you like waiting a very long time for very mediocre food that’s over priced, you are in for a treat!
I am genuinely confused by the good reviews on here.
First, you walk in to… empty rooms… and a desk with a phone number to call. We ended up finding the restuarant in the back.
Second, the service was terrible. Servers themselves are very nice, but it took 30 minutes after drinks for them to take our dinner order. We were one of four tables… in the entire place.
Third, the menu was tiny compared to what was listed online.
Fourth, they brought bread that is incredibly stale. Like rock hard focaccia bread. I stupidly took a bite, thinking, it can’t be right. Stale. Dry. Wrong. We started with the clam chowder, which I do not recommend if you actually like clam chowder. If you like bland soup with chunks of veggies and bits of clam, then this is for you. I got the burger and fries because they didnt have hanger steak, burratini, lamb, flounder, or duck. The burger was just fine. Nothing crazy, just a regular burger that you can over cook at home. Over priced for nothing special burger. My partner got the char. He said it was good. I tried it and, again, it was just regular. Nothing special. Very disappointing meal all around. Most of the menu is reduced down to a few things.
I am giving two stars, because its clean and the servers were nice… when they were there.

Town Meeting Bistro is a solid neighborhood spot that gets the job done without truly excelling in any one area. Food, service, and atmosphere all land squarely in average territory — nothing disappointing, but nothing that really wows you either. It feels like a reliable go-to for a casual meal rather than a destination dining experience. With a little more ambition in the kitchen and some added warmth in the space, it could stand out more.

This is the perfect place to eat if you prefer quality over quantity. Food and ambiance was just right, and staff was very friendly. We had a great time celebrating my birthday with family. My son was happy there was a kids menu, which was creatively presented on a wooden sailboat! Thank you!

Wow, the management of this place is grossly unfair! We booked a table for 4, in an igloo, for New Year’s Eve, requiring a substantial deposit, with our reservation noting that our igloo deposit was not refundable if WE changed or cancelled. At 3 p.m. that day, we received a call from the restaurant, stating that due to the cold weather (predicted for days!), igloos were unavailable but we could be seated inside if we’d like. We declined since one member of our party is immune-compromised and could not be in a public place unmasked. They gave us a VERY hard time, taking two days and five phone calls with senior management to get our refund. We didn’t change our reservation – they did! They blamed us for not informing them in advance, when reserving an igloo, about the health condition of one of our guests. That is frankly none of their business. We reserved an IGLOO! I will never go back to this place.

My family and I had Saturday tea in one of the igloos and it was an incredible experience start to finish! The igloo was nice and toasty so we were so comfortable even though it was 30 degrees outside. The food and service were excellent. Elaine was so professional and friendly – thank you! The scones were the best I’ve ever eaten. I wish they sold their pastries in to-go boxes. They’d be such a good gift. Overall, 10/10 experience and can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely phenomenal food and even better service.
Town Meeting Bistro is a lovely little dining room in the back of a fancy little old inn in historic Lexington. The menu shows off seasonal, farm-to-table ingredients in a variety of upscale, but not pretentious, dishes, and the quaint decor evokes an 18th century-inspired feel without being over the top.
I arrived just after 8:00 (they close at 9:00) without a reservation, and after checking with the kitchen that they could accommodate me, no one on staff ever treated me like an inconvenience. I was serviced with kindness, sincerity, and class – and I made sure to return it with copious, well-deserved thanks.
The food was incredible. I had a parsnip soup with poached pears and candied pecans which was, for my mouth, like coming in from the winter cold to a warm blanket on the couch. It was so good, I’m determined to try and recreate it at home. I followed that up with a wild mushroom risotto which made me count my blessings that I enjoy both mushrooms and risotto. I washed it all down with a delightful rye cocktail, and would have partaken of dessert if my company dining budget would have had the space (it was also approaching 9:00 and I wanted to be considerate to the staff).
All in all, a fantastic experience. I’ll be sure to visit again, and perhaps stay at the inn as well.

My sister was visiting from Houston and we were celebrating her 50th birthday. Ruthnie took care of us like family, as always. She worked with the wonderful staff at Artistry to make my sis’s birthday a day she won’t soon forget. From the special, almost to pretty to consume, charcuterie to the mouth watering brunch and finally the beautifully plated birthday cake. The chef was so talented and passionate about what he does that we were in awe. Such attentiveness and warm service that my family kept saying how genuine and heartfelt their efforts were. The quality of the food and the gracious service from our server were appreciated by all. They even gave my sister a card that they all signed! Don’t hesitate to book a table here for your next special occasion, or turn an ordinary day into one by coming here! They never disappoint, but they really wowed us this time. Thank you, Ruthnie and all of you rock stars at Artistry on the Green!

I had made a reservation for High Tea at this establishment to celebrate a special occasion. Less than one week prior to the reservation, I received an email informing me that it had been cancelled without prior consultation or notice. Upon calling the restaurant, they were unable to explain why the High Tea was cancelled for that day and did not offer any rectification beyond a new reservation for a different day. This is hugely disappointing coming from such a highly rated business.
