Dislocation was conveniently across the street, literally steps, from the hotel I was staying at for a conference in the area, Hyatt place. I picked the food up to take back to my room so I can’t really say much about the atmosphere or the service. I got wings and fries and both were pretty good, the sweet potato fries came with a sweet yogurt dip that was pretty good rather than having to dip them in ketchup. The wings were fresh and the chicken was good quality. Definitely try this place out if you are in the area

This place is the BEST place to get a delicious juicy burger! I got the Mac n cheese burger with truffle Parmesan fries and let me tell you this is the best burger I’ve ever had. Like I’ve had my fair share of burgers and this one tops all. Even better than Wahlburgers hahah! Oh and the staff were EXTREMELY nice:)

Very good, this is the place for burgers. My husband was here before and this was my first time here. Really tasty and new burger combinations. The lamb burger was so well done and the patty melt, really melts in your mouth.

I’ve been here several times with the kids and everyone leaves full. My daughter says it’s the best burger she has ever eaten. My son gets the pound of chicken tenders every time. Their salads are big and filling. The tacos are good too! Nice beer selections well…

Best burger in the area. But the best part of this place is the coolest bartender I’ve ever met. Julia is a Gem. This establishment is very lucky to have such an amazing worker. Stopped by this place completely on a whim, which is honestly how most of my life’s best decisions start.
We were greeted right away and grabbed a table outside, which immediately set the tone for what would become a very successful Saturday evening mission: eat good food, drink good beer, and make zero responsible decisions about calories.
Our server, Hannah, deserves a standing ovation. It was a busy Saturday night (aka controlled chaos), but every time she came to our table she made it feel like we were her only table. I’m still not sure how she pulled that off. Witchcraft? Hospitality sorcery? Either way, impressive.
She also knew the beer and food menu like the back of her hand and—perhaps the most important feature for people like me with mild commitment issues—they let you taste things before committing. Yes, friends, you can date the beer before marrying it.
And let’s talk about the food.
The burger?
Absolute perfection. Cooked exactly right. Not one of those sad, dry hockey puck situations. This burger had dignity. Respect. Purpose.
All in all, 10/10 experience. Came in on a whim, left emotionally attached to the menu.

This was my first time at Town Hall Burger and Beer in Durham, NC, and I really enjoyed everything—from the food to the atmosphere. The vibe was welcoming, and the place had a great energy.

Excellent and fairly priced burgers and sandwiches. Extensive variety of burgers, including lamb, salmon, turkey, black bean and impossible burger options. We were staying across the street at the Fairfield Inn. I had the bbq salmon sandwich, which was delicious. This was an actual fillet of salmon, not a formed salmon patty. The house made chips were delicious. My friend had the patty melt, which he said was very good also. The restaurant is divided in two. You can choose between counter service, with self serve drinks, or you can sit in the pub with full table service.
