This is a great little place to stop in for a bite. Breakfast all day or dinner, you can’t go wrong!
The service was excellent! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive.
The food was really good and the atmosphere was cozy and reflects the authentic “mom and pop” restaurant that everyone loves going to.
There are daily specials and a large selection of items to choose from. They serve breakfast all day as well.
I highly recommend stopping by!

Traveling through WV/VA, we happened upon this restaurant for lunch. Our server, Juanita, was extremely attentive and friendly, and the food was fabulous. The Rueben was one of the best I’ve ever had, and husband’s burger hit the spot. The french fries were crispy (thank you!).

I really do enjoy going to this restaurant down in a little country town because the food is absolutely delicious and the service is good and the people are very friendly and I guarantee you that you will not regret going there. Most of the time country folks really do know how to do some good cooking!

Out of town visitors but come here at least 4 times a year when we come visit friends….first of all, All the open tables were dirty, never wiped down. The waitress was slow and forget to bring us condiments that we requested. Once we were served food, our waitresses never came back again to make you we were ok with everything. We had a few problems with our food, we were served undercooked bacon as a side and also in the two omelettes that we ordered. Waitress never came back to check on us so we never got to eat the bacon or the omelettes. The cashier did reduce our bill, but we should have not been charged at all. It seemed that the restaurant did not really care about our bad experience. Very disappointing. Will not go back. Afraid to go to Southern Kitchen since it’s the same owners.
