Reading great reviews is what got me there and it did not disappoint. Waitress was great, food was delicious with large portions and even got to say hello to the Cook. I ordered the meat lovers breakfast skillet .. filling and very tasty . Definitely worth the stop, I’ll definitely be back.

Had their November Wednesday Thanksgiving dinner and it was fabulous. Moist tender turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes all covered with gravy, rutabaga, cranberries and a dinner roll. Came with choice of soup or salad. I elected for the potato soup; definitely homemade and good to bottom of the bowl! Generous servings.

I love coming here ! Wabasha is very small town and this breakfast place is the ultimate small town vibe ! Homemade food , extremely friendly staff ! Place is always busy , extremely affordable! Got the all meat omelette and that thing was filling ! Huge portions and great family restaurant to hit up when in town , highly recommend this place for breakfast!

Every time I visit Minnesota, I go to my father’s hometown and eat here. Their tomato dumpling soup is the absolute best. The staff are very friendly.

It’s pretty good, but nothing special. I like to support small businesses, and this certainly qualifies. We arrived at 1pm and they were only serving breakfast. I had a sausage skillet, which was a generous portion, and tasty, but sort of bland. I would go back.

This is one of the best Moms cookin cafes we’ve been too. Great food, good prices, good service, and wonderful pies! My piece of pie had a real egg white meringue that was 3 inches tall! Just like my mom used to make! Well worth the time to get here. A hidden treasure by the mighty Mississippi!
