GREAT dinner at Town Club tonight!!! Reservations are essential — we called ahead and were able to get in short notice on a Wednesday night, but they are very popular & advanced booking is always recommended. Service was impeccable, and all of the food was fresh, delicious and served in enormous portions! Shout out to Tiffany, our outstanding server. Martinis with stuffed bleu cheese or anchovy stuffed olives were gorgeous! This place rightly has a stellar local reputation for quality, and we were not disappointed at all! Highly recommend!

Small lot in the back, you could pass the entrance if you aren’t looking hard enough. This is an older outdated restaurant with mostly locals who frequent. Beware you may need reservations – especially on taco night Wednesdays..prime rib tacos are popular at around $3.50 each ala carte.

Most of the food on the menu is NOT ala carte – you get a relish tray (beets, beans & cottage cheese) for the table, then a choice of soup or salad (not both), and your entree should come with a potato choice or veggies (pretty darn good veggies!).

We had three different entrees: Walleye (special), Blue Gill + Frog Legs (Combo Platter) and the 20oz. Charred Prime Rib – Medium.

We also had a few drinks: MGD, Cabernet, and an old-fashioned (I do not recommend the old-fashioned. Weak, too many ice cubes, not traditional).

The frog legs were excellent. The blue gill had some bones (to be expected, but otherwise tasty), the Walleye was fresh and excellent. The Prime Rib was just okay. It was cooked well, and although a fairly fatty piece of meat, it lacked some flavor…but was slightly charred.

The service was good…wait staff were overwhelmed with multiple tables in the back with one other person helping to clear tables, refill drinks, etc.

It’s a one and done for me. Not terrible, but also not excellent. BUT – if you are looking for an old school, darker, poorly decorated, cramped seating-style tables/booths – then this is for you!

Ordered the Club Ribeye Medium and was well done. The server offered to have remade I declined so I could eat with my family. The manager took 10$ off. Cheese squares are amazing! This place is old-school supper club. Service was a little slow. I would give another try just to see if it was an off day. My family’s steak was good.

The ambiance was quaint, and the food was good. We went for lunch and I had the Cheese Squares as an appetizer. They were delicious as was the beefy noodle soup. The steak sandwich was good. It came with sweet potato chips which was served with melted butter and brown sugar and was good! I’m going to go back for dinner and try the prime rib which is what they are known for.

Very extensive menu, never had a bad meal here yet. I had the walleye special and my wife had the fried shrimp, both were very good. I also had the potato soup, very tasty. The charged prime rib is very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I knew when I saw the sign “best and biggest martini in town since 1947” that this place would be good, and it was! Solid martini, had their famous charred prime rib (it was delicious), I will be back for the Indiana cornfed duck! Great honest food & drink, great value, and great service.

Even if the food wasn’t so good, I would still go back because of the SERVICE. And the food was outstanding!! I typically don’t like a charred Prime rib, but their execution was stellar. Server and Manager/owner, Mark I think his name is are complete gems. This is a quintessential old school super club and stays true to it in ever regard. People saying it’s “outdated” are idiots, it’s intentional. I hope they NEVER change it. Loved all the old school charm and the relish platter. We will be back next week!
