Mid size, standard restaurant with simple decor. Quite popular amongst Indian community. Ample of free parking in constructed parking lot.. Easy to find location . There are other business also like kids classes, Hot yoga, Beauty Parlor, a retail clothing shop, and other two types of cuisines. It is very close to other shopping locations to Davis drive as well as Morrisville, and other shopping complex. Everything within 1 mile from this restaurant.
Last Dec. 2018. There is a new owner of this restaurant. There is little change in the decor. The booths are gone, cash counter and other serving area has change. There is price hike up in every dishes including buffet.
the arrangement for the line to take the food from the buffet station is very awkward. The line is by the main kitchen door which is very difficult for the server as well as the customers. the server carrying hot food or other dishees, has to be very careful to avoid an accident. When I visited for lunch, I noticed that their salad counter was last and main course counter was first. I did ask the owner/manager about it. He said he will take care of it. Good food for regular meals. Not overly spicy or oily. average person spends about $ 15 for buffet and about $ 20 for ala cart.
NOTE: Itn the beginning, Tower was doing good. We went again after almost a year. I am sorry to say but we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered, baby corn mnchurian for appetizer, Rawa dosa with gunpowder, vada with Rasam and vada with Sambhar, chatni. We wanted to order some desert but were so unhappy with service and food. It was Saturday night but only 4 tables were occupied inside and 2 tables outside. In our order vada came first, everything was cold, than came appetizer in which the corn was uncooked, than came dosa, again cold. We go to the restaurant to eat HOT food not room temperature! The previous owner had good coock, on weekends, we had to wait for table! The food and service both were very poor. West of money and time. Not again.
The dosa was tasteless, masala was uncooked and overly spicy, as an Indian I can handle spices however I can not handle uncooked spices.
Picture tells how much of it I could finish.
I would recommend the chef to taste the dosa they are serving to customer.
I will never return back again.
I felt sorry for waitress, I could not give tip to this order there was no fault of her however it was bad day for me.
