Very nice bbq restaurant in Kannapolis. I came here for an event. The restaurant is really nice inside and outside. They have plenty of outdoor seating with great views of the ballpark. The pulled pork was nice and juicy. I also had the hush puppies and soft pretzels.

I’ve tried this restaurant a handful of times and the first time experience was perfect. We kept going, but we have recently been disappointed with the inconsistency of the quality. They are OK with the right kitchen manager, but without that, it is a normally a miss. The staff is very friendly though. If you’re going to try anything, I highly recommend you get the buffalo wings. They are to die for! They are smoked and so tender.

We found this place online. Thought we’d give it a try, we ordered the tavern platter. There were six of us. The waitress failed to tell us they were out of sausage and they didn’t bring one 1/2 of chicken until we were ready to leave. we gave a call about the sausage because they forgot to put it on the platter manager should have come out and told us, but she did not anyway they said they would give us free sausage and dessert. Next time we came in OK so we waited two weeks we thought we’d give it another try. well, we went there today on the 16th for a late lunch, they were out of sausage again, they seated us with no silverware the waiter didn’t even give us silverware. our waiter was taking our order all along while watching the race, anyway I ordered the triple play, they never brought the toast that goes with the triple play for the pimento cheese,I think we all got sick. Some kind of stomach virus from the fish and chips. Well, I guess this is our last time visiting there, it is not all that don’t waste your time. Its overrated quality of food in two weeks the slaw. I ordered two weeks ago was not the slaw I got today, our waiter said the prep was different, we’re done✌️

We went to Towel City Tavern for Restaurant Week and the food was outstanding. It’s truly a hidden gem in Kannapolis. We had the stuffed hush puppies and fried green tomatoes, followed by steak and fries and shrimp and grits—all delicious. Dessert was their banana pudding and peach cobbler, which were amazing.
Our server Evie was the best—so friendly and funny, she made the experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

The food was Awesome! The service was great! The atmosphere is a little confusing. I like it, but it’s like a very bright brewery, but trying to be an upscale restaurant. Nothing wrong I guess. Just different.

Oh my gosh. This is an excellent place. We got a lot of food, but honestly, the Brussels sprouts were the best I’ve ever had in my life. The hush puppies, cheese curds, and fried green tomatoes were also super delicious. Loved the pulled pork too.

I Went to Towel City last week and had an amazing experience. Madison worked behind the bar and was very knowledgeable on drinks and personable. Their manager Chelsea came around while we were eating to make sure everything was great throughout the evening. Food was a good portion but could use a little more seasoning. Overall the drinks were amazing and Madison was great! Definitely will be back

We had a great experience at Towel City Tavern last night. We went because of it’s great Queen’s Feast menu and we were not disappointed. The food was filling and tasty. The peach cobbler was SO yummy. The atmosphere was not quite as cozy as we were looking for but the table placing made it seem like we weren’t in a really big room. Our server, Evie, was fantastic! Despite the busy night, she never acted rushed, checked in with us just the right amount of times, and never left us hanging. The floor manager was very attentive and let us know when and why there was a delay with our food. We will return!

A burger so nice I came back for it twice! I have been fortunate enough to visit TCT twice now. The Tavern Burger surprised me with how tasty it was. That, with a side of fries and the deviled eggs really hit the spot. The venue itself is unique and well-designed, making it a fantastic spot to hang out. I look forward to coming back and trying the shrimp and grits or bbq platter.
