Very nice neighborhood restaurant, it’s just a few blocks from the house. Great food!!! The food is like waking up on a Sunday morning to grandma cooking. They have many different coffee and tea options. If you eat clean they have options. If you eat meat they have your covered. If you are a vegan you’ll enjoy the options here. If you are a vegetarian you’ll be good eating here.

Let me start off my saying if we hadn’t stayed on this side of the river, I doubt we would’ve found this hidden gem. We were in town for 4 mornings and ate breakfast here every single morning. We didn’t want to go anywhere else. The owners are so kind and welcoming. And, the food. Lots of choices from basic breakfast meals to breakfast with a Louisiana twist! The etouffee with grits and eggs was phenomenal! Boudin dish was great. The quiche was my personal favorite. So flavorful and delicious!

Cute family owned spot where we enjoyed breakfast each morning with the locals during our long weekend in NOLA. Something on the menu for everyone, also offering half portions of their larger dishes. Great coffee, great prices, friendly faces. Don’t miss it! 🙂

Great food. Closed Monday. Open 8 am to 1 pm. “Deep south” was amazing. Coffee is the best I’ve had. A must for the short ferry ride over and great local atmosphere. Definitely on the list for any time I’m in New Orleans.

I was visiting NOLA in September 2022, before going on a cruise. My girlfriend and I stayed in a VRBO home a couple blocks away. It is an amazing, homey, quaint cafe with a big menu to choose from. The portions are huge and delicious. The art on the walls are from local artists and most of them are for sale! If you get a chance stop and have breakfast, you won’t regret it. The avocado toast was delicious! I’ve even recreated it since I came home from my trip.

I always love the food and service at Toute de Suite. My husband likes a more traditional breakfast and I like to order the bagel with lox or avocado toast. There’s something for everyone!

This review was long overdue. This was a great find for us. We were in New Orleans for a couple of days. Algiers point is a must see when you are in New Orleans, with its beautiful french style houses and quiet neighborhood. It’s just so beautiful by the Mississippi river. And this breakfast cafe is the best there is to get some amazing breakfast. It’s a really popular cafe, both with locals and tourists. It was almost occupied when we got there. We had bar stools by the window. They make some fresh beans espresso and other coffees. The fresh smell of coffee filled the cafe. We ordered some coffee, pancakes and the Poche, which was eggs and andouille sausage with sauce on grits and boy it was delicious. The andouille sausage was so good, I still have that taste on my mind. The grits was amazing, too. I had never been a fan of grits but they made me love that grits. The whole combination was so sumptuous. It was great. The pancakes were amazing, too. They were fluffy and tasted amazing. I enjoyed the breakfast so much I left my car keys behind and by the time I remembered my keys were missing, I was on the other side of the river and the place was already closed. Good thing about New Orleans is the public transportation is really good. I had parked my car at the hotel. I went back next morning and the owner had safely kept my keys. It was hot when I got there. She offered me chilled water. She was real nice. This place is a must go when you are in Algiers point. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!!
