Iced Honey Ginger Tea: 5/5 Is this from a jar? Do they use almost double the amount I would at home? Does the entire jar probably cost $8 and I paid $5 for one drink? Yes, yes, and yes, but something about going to a cafe and just sipping on a drink while working would make a drink you can make at home that much more special. For the people who have never had Korean honey ginger tea, it’s literally just honey and ginger but something about the combination makes it greater than its parts. Try it!

Ambiance: Casual and clean. There’s nothing too special about it, but it reminds me a lot of the old Korean cafes in the 2000s. Maybe it’s the white painted brick. Fast internet, not much more I can ask for.

Service: Fast and nice workers.
Parking: Big plaza with lots of parking. No problems.

After a long day in LA, my bf and I wanted to end the night with something sweet. I surprisingly didn’t drink coffee all day, sooo why not get coffee after 5pm?!

Parking: They’re located in a busy plaza. There’s a large parking lot, so finding a spot can be easy.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of indoor seating. No outdoor seating. The pastries are located to the right as you enter. Everything is labeled and easy to find. The cakes are located in the back towards the register.

Service: We didn’t get anyone’s names, but the workers were nice, quick, and efficient. Just wish there was a clear direction of where the line starts.

Drinks & Pastries:

1) Chocolate Cream Doughnut – This was sooo delicious! The doughnut was fluffy and had a generous amount of filling. The filling wasn’t overwhelming sweet.

2) Honey Lavender Matcha Latte (hot) – My bf ordered this. This was on the sweeter end. The lavender flavor was overpowering the matcha flavor. He enjoyed it, but I’d prefer it without the lavender.

3) Butter Pecan Latte (iced) – I ordered this. This tasted exactly as it sounds. The butter pecan flavor definitely came through.

Pricing: It is on the pricier end compared to Paris Baguette or 85 degrees. They do offer unique pastries though, and they have a variety of drinks. Although we didn’t not try their cakes, I will say their designs are cute. We’ll definitely be back to try their other pasties.

A very nice quiet place to enjoy delicious baked goods and best coffee ever. I tried the kimchi stuffed bread and it was so yummy so I decided to invite my friend this morning to try it as well. Sorry didn’t take a picture, but I took a picture of the tens of the trimisue cake they were preparing at the spot.
Very recommended.

I am usually in love with this place. But today we got a cloud cake , and sadly it wasn’t as cloudy or fluffy! The base was dry.
Unfortunately it was a disappointment for my sisters birthday

The bakery was very hip and French themed. Everything was clean looking and hip. I actually went two times, and the experience was different each time. First time was on a Friday afternoon, and all the breads and pastries were in stock. I went ahead and tried a bunch of different items and they were all quite good. One nice thing about it is that their “sweet” items were not overly sweet and definitely leaning more towards an Asian palette.

Their drinks were not bad, pretty normal and expected from any cafe/bakery with the usual array of coffee and espresso drinks, along some teas and Boba.

The second time I went was on a Sunday afternoon. The stock of bread was pretty low, and here in lies the problem. I’m not sure how often they’re baking and keeping the shelves stocked as during my whole duration there (about 30 to 40 min or so as my group was hanging around and chatting), some items remained unavailable and empty the whole time.

Perhaps it’s just opening pains. I hope it is, and as the employees get better at keeping up to pace with customer demand, it’ll improve.

Another thing is that the drinks are often behind, and there’s always people waiting for their orders to be called out. Depending on the employee the call outs are often very quiet too, so people not paying attention could wait for a while before noticing that their item is up.

Also, drinks are called and left on the counter. Receipts weren’t really checked so if they call out a drink that others have, another customer could just walk up and nab it thinking its theirs.

Either way, I’m being more lenient as I think it’s just usual growing pains for a new shop opening up.

Tl;dr: Bread and atmosphere is great, drinks are normal and ok. There are some improvements needed, but overtime kinks should (hopefully) be worked out.

I ordered a custom birthday cake for my daughter’s party, and it was absolutely perfect! The service was attentive and friendly, and they listened to my design ideas closely. The cake was not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness. Definitely worth the price!

I have been here a few times and typically only get one pastry for breakfast . I paid with card as most of us do . This last visit I was going to do the same, and apparently there is a brand new rule that you must spend a minimum of $6.00 to use a card . That is the highest minimum amount I have ever encountered to use a debit card . I only needed and wanted one pastry for breakfast and I don’t usually carry cash. So, if you plan to go here and you want to only get one item, I suggest bringing cash . There is no way I’ll be forced to spend more money if all I want to get is one item that is under $6.00. I have the $6 but I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere. A minimum purchase requirement at a bakery ?

Well staffed with decent coffee and pastries/cakes. Highly disorganized though and the staff isn’t that well trained.
