Toulouse is centered around the cuisine, décor, and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans. Our menu is expansive and ambitious, featuring traditional creole and French Quarter preparations, charcuterie, USDA prime steaks, fresh seafood, and one of the most extensive cold kitchen menus (garde manger) in the country. We believe we offer the greatest dining value found anywhere, which is then coupled with a richly textured decorative experience that was crafted with sincerity and conviction that we were making something of lasting and genuine value. We also serve a Happy Hour menu that we believe is simply the most compelling in the nation. It features more than fifty preparations.
Hip Cajun-Creole spot with a cozy, New Orleans–influenced dining room and optional fixed-price menus.

We ordered:
• green goddess salad: small portions but very refreshing ane herby, good accompaniment with other heavier dishes.
• fries: MUST ORDER, perfectly crispy and garnished with parsley, garlic and parmesan.
• blackened rockfish w/ creole crawfish tasso sauce with corn grits: amazing, although a little indulgent because of the grits
• petrale sole herb crusted with prawns, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. i can’t find it on the menu they have on their website, it must be a seasonal thing or a special, but absolutely AMAZING.
• fried chicken gumbo: chicken was a little dry, but the gumbo was out of this world
• non-alcoholic monday mezcal mule: delicious, tangy and spicy aftertaste
• beignets: good, but not exceptional, but we’ve been spoiled with new orleans beignets
Menu is huge and offered a ton of variety for people to choose from.
What I loved about this restaurant is that it’s definitely not like one you’ll experience everyday! The food was fantastic, rich and provided a homey comforting taste that was flavorful but also inspiring.
Highly recommend this restaurant and the opportunity to have a wonderful experience enjoying a night out, holiday event, etc – this is the place!
For our 5th anniversary I proposed this evening with much help from the manager and team.
I had reached out about a week in advance when making the reservation to see if they could help me make our night special.
They allowed me to bring flowers and a card to prest our table when we arrived for our reservation.
We made our way through drinks, appetizers and dinner. The manager played us one of our songs over the speakers as they brought out our dessert and a special plate with our custom ring box. The manager even stood off to the side and got pictures for us!
All in all it was a great evening from the drinks, to the pork cheek appetizer down to the staff and kitchen.
Thank you all for your help! We will be back
I ordered three dishes and the server mixed up two of them. I originally chose the crab eggs Benedict — it was tasty, though pretty expensive at $38. I also ordered a chicken sandwich, but it came without the chicken… so I switched to the BBQ shrimp New Orleans with creamy grits. That one was excellent — the sauce was spicy, tangy, and really flavorful.
We also ordered the mussels appetizer, but the bill showed a full entrée size instead. They corrected it when I pointed it out, but it made me wonder if I hadn’t checked the receipt carefully.
Overall, the food is still good, but this visit felt overpriced and the service wasn’t as strong as my past experiences. Lunch came out to about $120 for two, which didn’t quite feel worth it this time.
Service was good, food came out promptly and piping hot. Appreciated the pacing of the dishes and server was really nice and attentive. The bathroom was easy to find and clean.
That said, I would go again. It is a big menu with many tempting items. Great if you love French Cajun food. Best I’ve had in Washington State.
For a $40 shrimp & seafood grit dish, I expected the portion to be large but it was a small personal plate so be mindful of that if sharing. If they added a bigger portion of grits and sauce it would’ve made it more worth it. The fried chicken on the gumbo was quite dry and the pieces tasted stale. One thing I wish they offered was complimentary bread 🙁 But we ordered the baguette ($8.5) and it was fresh.
Maybe I’ll come back next time to try their happy hour pasta and steak. Really beautiful ambiance though!
