Touch of India is a staple in the downtown St.Catharines area. They have been here since 1993! The place is extremely clean and the food was authentic and delicious. We were pleased to speak with the friendly owner and are looking forward to going back and trying more. It’s clear he really cares and is passionate about his restaurant! The food is extremely reasonably priced for the portions! Thank you for the great food and service!

The best thing ever is the chicken dhansak. I crave it all the time. It’s delicious every time. The naan is always amazing. I can say that even take out is true to restaurant flavour. I love touch of India so much!! Thank you for always making amazing food.

Touch of India is quite busy on Friday nights. Knowing that wait time would be a factor, we made a reservation to ensure we’d have a table as the dining room reached near full capacity during our long stay and there was a steady stream of people coming and going with take away orders.
The dining room is spacious, tables aren’t too close and the food was aromatic when it eventually arrived. It felt as though the pick up orders were prioritized over the dine in orders as we sat for long stretches of time with no food while we watched pick up order after pick up order go out the door.
We were able to find items that could be modified for our vegan requirements but diners should indicate that a mild flavoured meal is preferred if heat is too much.
The fish tank is an interesting decor choice and the host did attempt to attend to everyone who came through the door.

It was the best Indian food I’ve ever had!!! Everything was delicious! The soup and the chicken masala were very flavorful and the naan bread was nice and fluffy. I enjoyed my dinner at this place so much✨ I’m definitely going to come back ❤️

I wish I could give a 5 star. The restaurant atmosphere is fantastic, lively gives an authentic Indian feel. Loved the painting around and chairs are comfortable. Well that’s a restaurant so need to pay attention with food as well. Had ordered paneer kadhai, Naan and mango Lassi. Quantity of main course was small not that sufficient for people of 2. Whereas Paneer size was pretty big not basically an Indian style. Nan was a bit burnt but it was still ok and mango Lassi was fine could have been more better. This is the only good rated indian resturant in the town i hope to visit again and check out other dishses. It seems the price in this resurant is bit high. Check out the pics

My family and I have been going to Touch of India for many years. The customer service is impeccable and the food is consistently delicious. I recommend the butter chicken, chicken tandoori, onion bhaji and naan. Everything is made in house and it is fresh. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, it is very reasonably priced and I always leave satisfied. If you want delicious authentic India cuisine, dine at Touch of India.

Great flavor, reccomend the chicken pasanda if you like something with a bit of sweetness like the butter chicken. The chicken tandoori also is very nice, and comes out sizzling on a skillet. Great selection of breads as well, only downside is, that it’s a bit slow to get the food, however that’s because it’s all cooked fresh to order.

Wonderful little restaurant with white tablecloth service and delicious, freshly prepared food. The special dinners have several meat or vegetarian items, plus rice and papadum and are extremely well priced. 3 of us dined for just over $50 including drinks. Exceptional service. Will return many times.
