We had dinner at Toucan Sur Mer to celebrate my husband’s birthday our second visit after a long time, and the ambiance remains just as pleasant. The seafood is outstanding, especially the fresh fish and oysters, and desserts are a treat too. They also offer valet parking, which is a great convenience.
However, when it gets busy, service tends to slip we had to call staff to get attention for things like bread, wine refills, or order checks. Still, overall, a great spot for seafood lovers, just be prepared for slower service during peak hours.

The best place for seafood in brussels definitely. There is a wide range of fresh seafood on the menu, including a variety of oysters. The oysters honestly the best I’ve had to date.
Definitely on the higher range price wise, but the quality of the food and overall experience matches that.
Was disappointed with the service which was rushed and robotic almost but i would put that down to an individual server.
Overall experience is excellent, lunch or dinner it’s always full and buzzing with plenty outdoor seating as well.

Great seafood in a busy, bustling restaurant. We had super fresh and perfectly prepared soft shell crab, a wonderful seafood platter and great fish soup.
You’ll need to book – this place is very popular. There’s also a Toucan brasserie a couple of doors down.

Lunch at Toucan Sur Mer was a treat. The oysters were fresh and clean, served on ice with just a lemon wedge, which was all they needed. The whole grilled fish was nicely cooked, topped with a tomato and herb mix that brought freshness to the plate. A bit more salt or citrus could have lifted the flavors even more. The sides were well prepared, and the vegetables had a good bite. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed.

It is always a pleasure to eat here. They are friendly the menu is simple the A La carte menu changes a lot and it’s always great. The atmosphere is chic brasserie and when it’s nice out you can smoke a cigar on the street terasse. I love this place. If you’re looking for the meat version, it’s just down the street and it’s just as good. If you’re not sure what to have, the fish and chips is awesome.
