We enjoyed our date night dinner for the first time. Good food, great atmosphere and Terry our server was amazingly funny. Prices was a bit higher than others in the area but it’s well worth it.

Very disappointed in my crab cake yesterday – menu states that they are made with lump crab meat but they are not. Server was great and drinks were great! Wish I had taken a pic of the crab cake. Will return but will order something different.

Great place overall, I just can’t get over the up charge of $2.00 for every to-go order. Went into the bar and even ordered a beer, I don’t mind the exorbitant markup on alcohol beverages. I do mind the BS charge for to go food. No it’s not the cost of the styrene container, as the labor involved in washing one guest who gets a side plate, glass of water, plus the beer, silverware, and bread basket. The labor, water, chemicals and putting everything back where it goes is 5-7 times the cost of one to-go container. Drop the charge now!

Good place to catch the sunset over the marina if you’re in Oriental. There’s always something going on especially now that the covid restrictions are lifted. Last Saturday was the Chowder contest.

We had eaten here a bit over a year ago and had a great experience. This time we brought several family members with us and had a not as stellar experience. The positives first… our server was utterly fantastic. She was attentive (without being annoyingly hovery), friendly, kept drinks topped up for all of us, and was accurate on orders. Actually she was the only super positive. Though the fries were good.

We were told this was THE place to eat. It was not bad. My ‘stuffed flounder’ was actually flounder with drizzled crab on top and definitely not stuffed. It was ok. Sweet potato fries were good. My dinner salad was average. New Castle was cold. View of the inner harbor and the boats was great. My dining partner got the Mahi Mahi kabobs [he asked for them blackened and they complied]. He said they were good. The bread was average. The service was good and our server worked hard. It was not a cheap dinner. Maybe I was expecting too much.

You would never guess by walking in this place how food the food is. It’s excellent, and the service is laid back. I definitely recommend it. They have the best crab cakes and ribs around!!

Drinks were a bit overpriced yet they stiffed on the alcohol. I was lucky enough that they don’t check IDs because I realized I had forgotten mine. Decent band too.

This little gem was a fun place for lunch. The shrimp quesadillas were beautifully cooked, and absolutely delicious. The jambalaya was just spicy enough and generously portioned. There’s a great deck off the back side with a view of the harbor.

Extremely overpriced for extremely mediocre food. We ordered nachos without any meat and got Tostitos with jarred cheese dip on the top – NOTHING else and it was jarred cheese sauce = $16. Dinner salad – the menu stared “big enough for a meal”… they were side salads on a typical salad plate, nothing special – lettuce, Tomato wedge x 2, 4 cucumber slices, and some onion = $10. 5 fried mahi bites ~2.5-3” long each = $16. They were tasty, but nothing spectacular. The location is spectacular, and our server was great. Can only recommend a drop in for a beer or cocktail on the water.
