I had the chicken tacos they were good, chicken was lacking some seasoning but it did come with sour cream and crumble cheese which a lot of the other local taquerias do not offer with their tacos. I was only given one lime wedge and a cup of salsa verde. Prices were about the same as other local taquerias. I will go back to try some other menu items. Very small inside sitting area and some outside seating too.

Came a second time to give it a another try, but was even more disappointed. I ordered chicken tostadas but as you can see in the photo there was barely any chicken if at all and only two pieces of tomato, not only that but it was also cold. Wouldn’t come back or recommend. I could’ve done better than this.

As someone who grew up in Los Angeles around lots of good Mexican food, I’d been struggling to find Mexican food in the area that was authentic and delicious. Luckily Totopos was a great find thanks to the recommendation of a friend. It’s a small place–only two tables inside with some more outside in front–but the food was delicious. We ordered some simple fare to try–chicken enchiladas verdes and chicken flautas–and both were very good (and cheap!). The salsa used in the cooking did not seem spicy at first, but it builds to a nice kick as you keep eating. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m craving good Mexican food.

Most authentic Mexican food I’ve found in this area. The flautas and enchiladas verdes were delicious.

Beware. They make up prices, they get an attitude if you ask for the price, they don’t serve what’s printed on the menu. I ordered a salad that says it’s served with rice and beans, however, the salad came with no rice and beans and the man and woman were very rude when i asked about it. I Tried to support a local business on my lunch break and got robbed . Never again . Please dont waste your money

I absolutely love the food here. The lady who cooks for us most of the time is amazing. While it’s usually one person and it does take a little time, be patient because it is worth it. The chicken mole is amazing and one of my favorites and the steak nachos are at the top of my list too. They grill the tortillas for you fresh, and it’s just those couple extra touches that put it over the edge. Don’t be fooled by the converted home appearance, or the lack of air conditioning, its a tiny little hole in the wall hidden gem for sure.

The tacos are very expensive(3 for $15) and dry. The overall quality and taste of food didn’t match the price at all. I would not come back here again.

Enchiladas with mole were excellent but beware, mole is not for everyone. Rice was excellent, frijoles were terrible. The tacos were laughable and pitiful. The chicken was dried out and tasteless. I am only rating on the enchiladas. They cook as 2 women in their home kitchen. Prices are a little high, taco price is absurd, crazy high.

Mole was the best I have had in a long time. The steak tacos were average at best. Good for a quick meal, very informal place, the staff was very nice.

I ordered nachos and a grilled chicken platter. The nachos were really good (besides the fact it didnt have guac included, but it was the end of the night so they were likely out). The grilled chicken platter was the saddest meal I have ever seen in my life, the chicken had no seasoning and wasnt even chopped up. The platter was also missing beans that was supposed to come with. I ended up throwing the platter out because it was so bad. However, I would have ignored all of this and given a 4-5 star review but unfortunately I was charged $12 for nachos and $13 for the platter (before tax) when both menus online state that both plates are $10 each. I am honestly really sad because I was looking for a new Mexican place and this one had good reviews, but unfortunately my first experience was really poor.
