Toska has been a place I have been wanting to visit for a long while…so I finally made it and I was somewhat disappointed sad to say!
When you walk in ..you are greeted with a smoky aroma from the brick oven. The interior is rustic and open layout. I visited during brunch and asked our server Sylvia all the questions about most popular choices and recommendations. I made the choice go with what Toska is known for: Pizza! I choose to have the Bacon Egg and Cheese Pizza..I asked to have to hold the onions..this request was not honored.
I shared with our server and it was dismissed as an error, (server stated ‘my bad’ and that was it) but no follow-up on how to make my experience better (that would get a four or five star rating)! I couldn’t really enjoy the pizza because it was filled with onions..but flavor was average.
I tasted the Sangria and Sour Beer offerings. They were average! I will return in the future and hope the overall experience improves.

Would’ve given it 5 stars, but more waitress are needed. Our waitress was great! But she was also behind the bar as well, she did amazing and works well under pressure. HOWEVER! It’s time to bring about 2 more people in.
Food was great! I wasn’t too crazy about the Nashville hot sauce. It wasn’t spicy and something is missing just can’t pin point it. The pickle ranch didn’t give that at all. It needs a little more ingredients/seasoning. The Korean BBQ pizza was really good. However, wasn’t a lot of meat. I didn’t expect it to be filled, but way more than given. Other than that I definitely recommend. Everything is home made. Everyone was very friendly as well.

We went during happy hour. Our service was pleasant and nice . I order the shroom pizza and my mom had the shrimp tacos. I had the $10 cocktails also with were good too. Will be back to try their entree

However our service from Oliver was terrible. He was not attentive or ever came back to ask us if we needed anything. My food came out cold. My napkin was dirty. We never got new napkins. The drinks were really good. The hot honey sandwiche was mediocre. The bun was more of the meal than the meat.
Over all I’m not sure if I’d come back. Service was the worst part and we got there when they were empty.

Toska is one of my favorite spots up in Mt Airy. My friends and I come at least once a month like clock work and sit at the bar and it’s always a great time. Love the bar staff. Cal is awesome. Super friendly and really makes the experience. Plus amazing at making my drinks. Drinks are always solid and the service is always good all around. Food has been consistently great (wings are $1 during games) and they are great at menu change ups and specials. Happy hours deals are also worth checking out. Definitely a place we keep coming back to. They’re really involved in the neighborhood events and have greatly improved with service since first opening!

Toska is a fairly new brewery and restaurant that we happened upon recently. Their beer list is pretty good and the menu is eclectic. While we enjoyed the overall experience—especially because of the great service from our bartender—the prices do seem a bit high and some of the dishes are a bit sloppy (sorry to say). We ordered the long hots appetizer and the corn ribs appetizer. The long hots were tasty, but underdone (mostly raw) and they were served with toasted white sandwich bread, which I thought was a bit odd. The corn ribs were absolutely delicious, though the presentation could use some work. The pizza, however, was delicious and we had no complaints! I look forward to returning so that we can give it a second try. Overall, not a bad first impression!

I found this place because I was looking for dinner ideas for a Christmas gift for my mom. The drive was easy and my mom really enjoyed everything this wonderful restaurant has to offer. We were seated immediately and the food came out very fast even though it was fairly busy. The food was delicious and I highly recommend to try the Veg pizza. Definitely going to come back. Shout out to Cam for the amazing service.

The food was amazing! Our bartender, Cal, was awesome. Cal was attentive, so kind and didn’t mind chatting with us. Cal was working on a new cocktail menu too that sounded spectacular! My husband and I will definitely be back and we hope Cal is on shift when we do.

We love going to Toska! Cal, Bennett, and Silvia are always so welcoming and attentive. The food is delicious. Our favorites are the Korean BBQ pizza, the wings (boneless and bone in), and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Came on a Saturday afternoon, place was moderately busy, but atmosphere felt very spacious and peaceful. Great variety of brews – iI tried their sour and orange lager which were both very good. I had their brunch pizza with eggs, bacon and cheese which granted was my first “brunch pizza”, was perfect – perfect crisp, flavor, and consistency, not to mention great looking! Staff was friendly and swift. Prices were great considering the quality of food, drink and atmosphere. Highly recommend for morning, noon, or night!
While I hung out at the bar, I did take a peak upstairs and it was even more decorated and spacious than the 1st floor that had already impressed me!
