Food was good, but it took half an hour to come out. In fairness they said so before we ordered. We weren’t in a hurry, so we stayed.
Food was good, service was good and polite.
The restaurant was clean.
It seems this place is geared more towards takeout orders, there were a lot of people coming in and out to pick up previously placed orders while we sat at a table.
Brighter lighting, more of a cafe vibe than a restaurant.

Just had Toshi’s teriyaki chicken bowl and wow easily the best I’ve had in the city. The chicken is grilled perfectly, super juicy with that sweet-smoky teriyaki glaze that’s not overly sweet like some places. The rice is fluffy, veggies still have a little crunch, and the portion is huge for the price. Quick service, friendly staff, and the place smells amazing when you walk in. Already craving my next one!

I had a great time at Toshi’s Teriyaki! The food was super tasty, juicy, flavorful teriyaki chicken with perfectly cooked rice and fresh veggies. The portions were generous, and the price was fair. The staff was friendly and quick, making the vibe really welcoming. Clean place, too! I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!

We bought lunch takeout for three people. The bill was $55 for three entrees. Portions were smaller than other similar restaurants, and the sweet and sour chicken was very soggy.
Service was just ok, if not very friendly. I used to get Toshis down in Fremont back in the day, and the food was fresh, cheap, and big in portion size.
One a side note: get rid of the obligatory tip screen on the card kiosk. If you’re getting food to go, tipping shouldn’t even be suggested.

Very friendly and communicative staff. When I ordered tofu teriyaki and then an egg roll, the server made sure I was aware of the egg rolls having animal product just in case I was vegetarian (I’m not, but having been previously, it meant a lot). I only sat 5-10 minutes before getting my food.

Every time I visit from Oregon, Toshi’s Teriyaki is my absolute go-to. The chicken teriyaki is perfect: juicy, flavorful, huge portions, and that sauce is addictive. Always fresh, always delicious. Hands-down the best teriyaki spot in town!

Got tofu teriyaki and spicy chicken teriyaki. Food was good, nothing outstanding. Hit the spot for teriyaki. Sauce is a little thin. Could use extra sauce for the chicken one.

Chicken breast Teriyaki is good, but the beef was really good and tender. Portion size was ok for the price. Overall it was good

The restaruant is alright as far as decor and ambiance. Photo’s of the menu are out of date so I will leave one with this review. I got the teryaki chicken skewer and a side of miso soup. The teryaki chicken was alright, grilled properly, but missing any real teryaki flavor. The teryaki sauce that came with it was bitter and watered down, not really good for dipping. The miso soup would have been much better if they used seaweed flakes instead of bitter chopped spring onion. The bitter onion taste did not mesh well with the miso and pretty much ruined it. I would recommend changing your soup garnish and using thicker sauce for the dipping cup and when cooking.
