We arrived without a reservation and were asked by staff to move to another table – the owner then brought us bruschetta on the house as well as drinks and dessert! The food was incredible and the service and atmosphere were lovely. Will definitely be back here again!

Fairly good Italian food for Mexico I would say. The bread basket is phenomenal…. The focaccia is delicious and they have they slender bread sticks everything is made house I believe for those items.

I thought the service was just ok but not amazing… Not as attentive as I would have appreciated and the manager gentleman that handles the payment was not super friendly. He did ask about how our meal was but showed no enthusiasm.

I think every table got bruschetta for free but I didn’t know so I ordered a bruschetta which were bigger slices with cheese and basil that tastes very fresh.

We had the spicy salami pizza and I quite enjoyed it… Super super think crust but I like that.

Spaghetti was better than it looked but noodles did not taste home made.

Beef dish was just ok thick sauce with capers too rich. The actual meat tasted fine.

Green salad didn’t have much of a vinaigrette I ended up adding balsamic to it.

The espresso was good.

Overall it was fine but not sure if I would go back again.

Just wow. The food is so good, portions are generous. The staff is super friendly and you can tell it’s a nice family run business. Couldn’t find a complaint for this place. Delicious food, we all got a different pasta and they were all AMAZING! Would highly recommend, when you factor in price too this place is unbeatable.

The best dinner we’ve ever had in Mexico. Authentic Italian cuisine, wood fire pizzas, home made pasta and a truly special vibe. Family members working together to make us feel welcome and appreciated,while accommodating the needs of our children and grandchildren. The food was excellent from start to finish. We began with fresh bruschetta on sourdough baguette—absolutely delightful. The table was also served warm focaccia with olive oil and vinaigrette. The sourdough pizza was spot-on, and the freshly made fettuccine with Dona sauce was fantastic. The owner even stopped by to thank us personally. To wrap up the evening, we were treated to a complimentary shot of delicious liqueur.

We would definitely return. Thank you for hosting a wonderful date night away from the kids!

Unfortunate experience this evening. Res for 7:30 on a Monday, and got our table at 7:45, so that’s okay. Ordered drinks which came quickly. Waiter took food order around 8:00. By 8:45 only one dish served. I got upset and told waiter to take it away as I was not going to eat cold pasta as the other three had not been served. Two other dishes arrives soon after, but not my wife’s pasta. The Italian owner came by and snatched up my plate and cutlery from me and my wife. On the way out out my son went to pay and staff said “on the house”. My wife (also Italian) went back to pay a tip for the staff and the owner apologetically and graciously said “no excuse” (we suspect the food order did not get sent to the kitchen). Unfortunate evening, but owner tried to make it right by comping the bill.

I have to share my experience with Toscana Mia where we made a reservation, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the atmosphere was lovely and the food that was available was delicious. However, I can’t help but feel disappointed because they were out of beer (bummer!), the arugula salad had no arugula (weird, right?), there was no lasagna or pasta with meat sauce (major letdown), and to top it off, the owner’s response when we mentioned these issues was extremely rude. It seems that if you shower them with compliments, they love you, but any criticism is met with hostility. Not the best experience overall.

This was a very nice experience. This restaurant (Toscana Mia) has excelent service and attention.
Also, great quality in meals and beverages.
Atmosphere is very good. And if you are around the area, this would be a very good option to have dinner.
Octopus is a dish you do not want to miss.

Wow! Amazing service at this place. They make you feel like an old friend or a regular. The food is great, the atmosphere crowded (we can see why), but the complementary bread, bruschetta, and limoncello make you feel like you’re being spoiled by an Italian grandma. Wonderful place if you’re in Bucerías.

Honestly, this is probably the best Italian food I’ve had. We both had the Arrezzo salad with spinach, pears, Gorgonzola cheese and pecans. Delicious. It was my first time ordering gnocchi, and it was soft and delicious with a wonderful bolognese sauce. My husband had the Donna, with fettuccine, shrimp, asparagus and pomodoro sauce. I had to stop him from licking the plate. Since the entrees were so amazing I couldn’t resist ordering my favorite dessert, tiramisu. It did not disappoint. I ate every bite. We have a week to go in Mexico, and will definitely be back here for dinner again.
