I had been before with friends and liked it, so recently took my mom for her to try. Friendly and attentive service, nice dining atmosphere.

The citrus grouper was delicious! I don’t normally care for fruits in savory dishes, let alone with fish, but wanted to try something different. Glad I did because we loved it. I think my mom got the rosemary gorgonzola chicken pasta, also delicious. The calamari appetizer was seasoned very well. The calamari itself was maybe a touch overcooked for my texture preference, but still tasted good.

Highly recommend and plan to be back for that citrus grouper!

First time visiting with my wife and food was delicious .. the gruper fish and the salmon ! 4 star on the service just because our waitress was new and could not answer any of our questions.. Should of be with someone more experienced for some more training but overall very good place.

Pleasant friendly service on Togo order. Burrata salad with crostini was delicious.
Unfortunately the chicken parm dinner was overcooked and dry. Portions were large but if it’s not good that’s useless. Sauce leans bitter. A definite pass on the meal.

My husband and I decided to try Toscana Little Italy tonight and unfortunately we will not be returning. We got there at 7:00 and were seated right when we came in. 11 minutes go by and no one comes to our table. So the same person who sat us, Jonah came by and said “I guess I’ll be y’all’s server tonight. Has anyone been with you?” And we said no, so he was our server! Which he did great and he did a couple things that cracked us up. The food however, just was not for us. We tried ordering mozzarella sticks, but they were out so I ordered the burrata caprese. It was good (how can you mess that up?), but $16 for it is overpriced in my opinion. My husband got the cheese pizza and it was quite overcooked and the underneath was soggy and greasy. I got the tour of Italy served with a tarnished spoon. The fettuccine didn’t have flavor. So I added salt and had a couple bites. Lasagna was okay and the chicken parm was dry and wasn’t my taste. I lost my appetite because it didn’t have flavor like I expected. I hate to complain about every aspect, but we were both highly disappointed. We did take leftovers home because my grandmother will eat ANYTHING, but we won’t be returning. Also, my grandma didn’t eat the leftovers because she also didn’t like them.

The food was pretty not bad, however I ordered angel hair pasta with an extra charge, which I was willing to pay, however when the dish came it was clearly not angel hair pasta. I am not a picky person, so had not problem eating what I was served but when I asked the waiter about it he said,’yea our Angel Hair pasta came in thicker for some reason.” My husband’s dish had spaghetti noodles and they were the same size.” When the bill came I asked the provider if it was possible to get the extra charge taken off for the angel hair pasta option since it was clearly not what I was expecting and he sighed and said “well it was angel hair, but i guess”. I was a bit taken aback by the response, as I was not rude at all, but I felt his response to a guest spending $170 on a meal for 4 was out of line and frankly rude. This morning I looked over the bill and noticed that when my daughter in law and I got a 2nd glass of wine, the “refill” he gave us was $3 more per glass! We had ordered the exact same wine as the first.
With all of the places to eat in Jacksonville, likely will not be making a return visit. Over-priced for the quality and treatment.

My family and I go here once or twice a month and it is always a reliable spot to get wonderful Italian food, but the main purpose of this review is to brag about their performance last Saturday. I was a bit behind while planning my wife’s surprise 40th birthday dinner and I needed a spot for 35 people and little under a week to do it. It was such a relief to find out that Toscana’s would be more than willing to accommodate on such short notice. All of the staff, especially Rebecca, were so helpful. They made every effort to ensure the surprise went as planned, even as far as to lower all of the blinds in the front of the restaurant so the guests would not be seen. They were rockstars, all the way from the preplanning to the service. We had 35 people, not one wrong or late order and everyone was very pleased with their food.. Great restaurant with great people.

Had a 7:30 reservation with a group of 8. An HOUR went buy and no one came to even get our drink order. We left around 9 after never receiving our food and the party that stayed got their food after 10!!! No apologies. No offer of bread or anything while we waited almost THREE hours for our food. They said the machine that sent orders to the kitchen wasn’t working which was complete bogus and a poor excuse for the worst service we have ever received.

How did we not know about this little gem? Incredible service from start to finish, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food? Toscana does a great job of bringing a little Italy to Jacksonville! The wine selection is curated beautifully, the suggestions from our waiter were spot on, and Chef Rebecca’s specialty Rosemary Gorgonzola Chicken over Rigatoni with garlic olive oil? You have got to be kidding me! That was amazing! We will most certainly be back. Great neighborhood spot with an open and warm space and wonderful staff.

Nice place with nice staff. That’s where the good things end. The calamari was rubbery and clearly had been mixed in with fresher and older squid. The pizza is not good. The pictures are very deceiving or at least the ones that I saw were. The crust is premade and just not good. The toppings were okay. The pasta was fine but the sauce was very smokey and gritty. Drinks were okay but again the seeds from the lemon were left in there. Just a lot of missed opportunities from this place. We’re likely not going back.

I enjoyed my meal, the service was 5 star. The meal was a little higher than other restaurants but the food was better too. I did have one complaint at the beginning but the staff took care of it immediately with out complaint. There were very professional.
