The service was excellent. The staff didn’t all speak English but they knew enough to take care of your order and get you what you needed. The food was good. We tried the tacos, burrito, rice and beans, and menudo. The rice was cold but mixed with the beans it was ok. The al pastor was a 7.5 and the carne asada was a 8.2, I wish the meats were a little crispier. The menudo was a 8.6 but wish it had hominy in it. The owner said they only put it in the posole where shes from but it was really good. The tortilla were really good but it is a tortilleria . If you are looking for authentic tacos then this is the spot.

This is one of my new favorite restaurants in Lexington! Everything was authentic and delicious, and the service was extremely friendly and helpful! I got several different kinds of taco and couldn’t decide which was my favorite because they were all so good!

Okay so we were driving thru Lexington, and wanted to grab food that was quick, cheap, but still tasty.
This place is SOOO GOOD.
They make their flour tortillas, the grande taco is $3.45? $3.25? one of those is pretty sure.
We got 3 large tacos, 1 burrito, and then rice and beans. i’m pretty sure it was around $20, and my partner and i split the meal and the portions were generous considering the ingredients / price.
The guy who took our order was kind and even though there really isn’t a “waiting / serving system” when he passed by he did ask how we were doing / if we needed anything.
overall, if you like this kinda food, you’re not losing nothing by trying it, you may just gain your new favorite local spot if you’re from the Lexington area!!

I’ve been here before a few years ago and just returned back — the spot to get more authentic Mexican food than most places in Lexington can offer. Even the simple dishes such as quesadillas speak to the quality of food. Been taking my friends here to introduce them, and will continue doing so!

This. Place. Slaps! If you aren’t coming here for all your Mexican eats in Lexington, you’re wrong. We had the carnitas sopes and asada burrito. The sopes were a little thinner than I have seen, but totally delicious with the very flavorful and a little greasy in the best way possible. All of the ingredients were insanely fresh. The burrito was huge and full of soft tender steak tips. There was very little rice and beans so you got quite a bit of meat and veggies. So good my husband said wecould move to Lexington!

Wish I could give a 0 star review! Worst experience and the owner had the most nasty attitude after THEY messed up my order. I had originally ordered 2 gorditas and when they messed up they had to remake my gordita and they still charged me for the remake! I didn’t even eat the remake because it looked like they dipped in the a bowl or grease! Most disgusting worst experience don’t waste your money!

I was excited to try this restaurant but unfortunately I was not a fan. First impressions walking in was that it was not the cleanest place and was a bit disorganized. We ordered the food and they brought it to the table. Instead of paying when you order you go back afterwards to pay. This seemed inefficient because we had to wait in line 2x instead of once. The food did have a good flavor but the amount of grease was insane. Also, they didn’t have a drink machine so I had to get bottled water. I drink a lot when I eat so that was not satisfactory.

I came here once with a friend, a lifetime ago, and it was delicious. Came back today and it’s even better than I remember. Sublime flavors, fast service. The tortillas taste like they were being made while I was finding a parking place. And a $2.75 taco is almost the size of a Big Mac.
