I went to this place hoping the bad reviews were wrong. My first impression was okay — they had fresh sweet bread and lots of Mexican items. We sat down and ordered; everything seemed fine until my daughter reached for a napkin and found a roach. (There were no roaches in the food itself.)
We also tried the Al Pastor meat, but it tasted off. I know what you’re thinking — after seeing the roach we should have left immediately, but I wanted to give the place a chance. Unfortunately, that was enough for us to decide we won’t be coming back.
On the positive side, the customer service wasn’t as bad as some other reviews suggested.

I have been spoiled by great panaderías and carnicerías at an arms reach my whole life. I recently transplanted and am an hour away from this store. I have no regrets in driving. They are the only ones that have the chicharron I love Thursdays through Sunday’s ! I was looking EVERYWHERE and calling everywhere for this chicharron.
In addition to this, they have delicious fresh bread and comida (food). They offer a wide variety of Mexican food and grilled chicken. Oooo, almost forgot to mention their fresh, hand made tortillas and fresh carnicería. The carnitas could use some work but overall, the best little hidden gem!

Best authentic food. You ever taste some food and was like you know it had to be some older lady cooking because the food was that good. Well yeah it was THAT GOOD. Walked in and didn’t expect it to be that good. You hear the old saying ” Don’t judge a book by its cover”. Well even though the store looked older but the food makes up for that. Was amazing. Highly suggest getting food here. Thank me later.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. This place is authentic. Great portions and a great assortment of house made breads, and market foods including meats, sauces and produce. The torta Cubana was awesome. My wife had the enchiladas Rojas Pollo. Also amazing. I’ve had Mexican food around the country and this place is legit!

Wonderful food and bakery. They have a fresh meat counter, but I wasn’t in a position to buy fresh cut meat that day. Service was good but very little English (I know it is a Mexican restaurant). Definitely recommend.

First time customer. They were extremely friendly and accommodated my inability to order in Spanish. Definitely where the locals go. Portions were large enough to take enough home for a second meal. Will be returning!
