My Boyfriend went here to get food for our dinner. We have been here now 3 times and each time we come here there is some awful misstep with our meals thar sours us on this place for a long time, then out of convenience we will order here and be sorely disappointed.
We ordered a Torta and Cheese Enchiladas. Easy enough.
First, they charged him an extra $2 for the Cheese Enchiladas not having any Meat in them. When he asked about the charge and was told why it was charged, he asked why he was being charged for NOT having meat in the Enchiladas. A snide and rude counter worker finally gave him his $2 back.
Secondly, he got the food back to our home and the Torta had been cut in half, but when we tried to separate the halves, the bottom piece of bread was not cut and the Torta insides went everywhere. Once they were retrieved off the counter, we had to cut the bottom piece. It seemed silly to cut a Torta halfway through.
Thirdly, the Enchiladas were cold (was going to post a picture, but not able on this app, look on Google Maps for pictures). The Cheese was raw, cold and unmelted. I didn’t know this, I thought that the Cheese on top was unrelated just because it had been thrown on at the last second, after all, the beans and rice had been heated and were still warm-ish. The Enchiladas had never been cooked…but the bite of shredded cheese, tortilla and sauce was rather jalapeño pepper hot (for my taste and I love jalapeños), almost abruptly so.
My Boyfriend was not thrilled about this. His Torta was “good but not good enough to keep me coming back”, I believe was his comment.

Strangely, the last time we picked up food here, I ordered Chicken Tacos. I got tortillas with large pieces of un-shredded, un-chopped, un-spiced, baked breast meat of Chicken. Like a taco with nothing but a big piece of White Meat Chicken. No lettuce, no, cheese, just chicken all day long.
The first time we got food there the 3 tacos each was an astronomical price. The tacos were not good because the Carne Asada was just bits of meat. Felt like it was just the hard edges of the meat and no soft pieces, the carnitas were salty and a bit too spicy. We ended up tossing them out and finding other food.

That’s the thing. We end up paying MORE for our meals. If it’s not $2 fees to remove Meat from your Enchiladas, it’s paying for food you’re going to toss because it’s not good, overly spiced or not spiced at all, in tiny bits or way too large to support, cooked to death or not even cooked one time, takes forever to give you food that you have to take home and cook because it was never cooked to begin with or deal with food that has been overcooked quickly that you now have to salvage in your kitchen with whatever you have there.
The worst part is, my Boyfriend was trying to make a nice night for me. It’s always my food that gets messed up and that makes him very upset. I don’t think we will ever be back.
Excuse me I have to go microwave some Enchiladas……

Worst everything! Waste of money eating there. There are better Mexican restaurants in Santa Maria. They even try to charge you extra for cheese enchiladas. They refunded me the cheese situation but the enchiladas were cold, not melted and nasty. Will never go back to eat there

The best place for carnitas. Las tortillas calientitas y la salsa roja está pa chuparse los dedos!
