This is a must try place if you are in Sonoma! Just a couple minutes outside of the main square you will find this gem of a taco stop! We had tacos, burritos and the green jalapeño sauce is a must eat. If you are in a budget, like we are, this is a big bang for your buck. The burritos are enormous and you can split one and still be full. We also had the birria tacos and Al Pastor.

Really good tacos, opens at 6pm and closes very late 11-12 or later if there’s persons still arriving. You can just pull over from the street and grab a quick dinner on the go or stay and sit.

You would drive right past this place and never know it is even there. But the lackluster venue doesn’t match the local hangout vibe that this place is. We were tourists in Sonoma just looking for some decent Mexican food. This place didn’t disappoint. Right down to the heat in the tamale that practically has my teen drooling from spicy heat. She was a trooper and endured the heat. The ordering was a little challenging at the counter, but the food came out well enough and the service very friendly. Glad we found it! The tortilla chips are amazing.

It’s a small-scale local tortilla maker attached to a local taqueria. The building is so small you might drive past it, and it’s got maybe half a dozen tables inside.

While I’ve never had to wait for a seat or in line, there isn’t always someone standing at the food counter. Give them a minute and make some noise; they get busy elsewhere if they think the taqueria doesn’t need service. They’re still very nice folk and the food is amazing. Don’t fault them for their hustle.
