I haven’t had such good Mexican food in a while. It made me miss my south TX home. The al pastor quesadilla was delicious as well as the chips, guacamole (wow!), queso, rice, beans, etc. etc. Can’t go wrong.

I haven’t stopped thinking about and craving these tacos since visiting Tortilleria Garcia last Tuesday for their taco Tuesday deals. When tacos are that cheap I just had to keep going back to order more. The flavors are great, especially the steak, and the salsas are delicious. Service was great and super friendly too! Will definitely be back for more.

Really disappointed because I had read good things about the place. My partner and I got there on 12/29 at lunchtime, and were initially satisfied with the food. The food itself was fine – not great, but not bad either – but the horchata I got was made with spoiled milk. After a couple big sips I noticed a rancid taste. I have had food poisoning all day, and so has my partner. This restaurant had been open for hours, and no quality control had been done on their dairy product. It’s such a shame because I otherwise had a fine experience, aside from being served spoiled milk.

We tried the special tacos today and they smelled so good I started eating before I remembered to take a picture! The Campechanos was fantastic. I hope it makes a regular appearance. This new Garcia location lives up to the flavor of the one in Springdale but in a nice new Mason location. They are known for Taco Tuesday but don’t sleep on the Tamales. Maybe they should start Tamale Thursday to introduce everyone to that taste treat.

Best carnitas I have had in Cincinnati and rivals some awesome places in California. Chicken tacos were also fantastic. But you should also leave room for the desserts.

This place has a menu of tacos, burritos/bowls, and tamales with all the essentials. I sampled some tacos (carne asada, shrimp, fish, al pastor, and pollo). They’re customizable, so you can keep em’ simple like street tacos or load em’ up all you want. I was very surprised by how loaded up they were (definitely not the size of your typical street tacos); protein portions were very generous, and they didn’t skimp on the guac either. All of the meats had decent flavors, nothing spectacular, but nothing boring; the al pastor was my front-runner. The mild salsa was excellent; hot has a very unique and enjoyable flavor to it, but proceed with caution if you don’t have a high spice tolerance (mixing hot and mild might be a good hack); I wasnt a huge fan of the salsa verde. There’s great value, pretty good food, and quick/convenient online ordering here. Three tacos can probably fill up the average person. I’m sure I’ll be back in the future.
