If I could leave no stars I would. This is my first and only time coming here. I bought tamales that were undercooked. I bought the menudo that had no flavor and no spice. I also bought carnitas and barbacoa but the portions are too pricey for what I paid. I spent almost $80 on worthless food. I am use to menudo and tamales from the Dallas tortilla factory or the monterrey supermarket, and I pay way less for better flavor and taste. I just moved to red oak so im still learning the different places around here. But I will definitely just take the drive to OAK CLIFF to get better food.

Tried this place for 1st time today. I had tamales. I was very disappointed. They were mostly masa. I didn’t even have meat. I had bean, cheese, and jalapeños. I didn’t see or taste any cheese and barely any beans. They also fell apart when peeling the husk off and most peices didn’t have anything on them. I ordered a dozen most fell apart. Paying 20 for this from a restaurant is very disappointing.

I was recommended to this place so I drove over an hour, bought three dozens of tamales was extremely disappointed. Tamales were very bland no flavor and very spicy. At 20 dollars a dozen id expect good tamales. Had to dispose of the tamales. Employees were great.

We had 2 orders 1 barbacoa, and 1 fajita plate with corn and flour tortillas. I have to say, the plates are a little more pricier than Dallas area but I can understand why. The food was really good and tasted fresh. The rice was really good. I had the guac salsa and that was good too. The beans were good but a little dry. Here are some photos for you to enjoy. I encourage you to go check them out.

So good and local! Corn Tortillas are super soft and fluffy, probably the best I have had in 15 years.

I’ve lived in the Dallas area since 2004. I can now, confidently, say that the best Mexican food is right here in red oak. As authentic and flavorful as it gets. Everything is made right on site–their kitchen is huge. They’ve also got Mexican coke by the glass bottle, which is amazing! Seriously, check them out, wherever you are in Dallas; it’s worth the drive.

Everything here is Delish. We grab something from here about every other Sunday after Church.. My faves are the jalepano/cheese tamales and braised pork, salsas, fresh tortillas… The lust goes on………

This is a great place to get authentic authentic Mexican food! I had a chorizo quesadilla which was delicious and filling. I also had two pastor tacos which were also really good! The green sauce, lime, cilantro and onions made it all the better!

Ford was not the greatest and the menudo tasted canned. The girl behind the counter is so rude. They just push you out the door and the workers behind the counter just stare. Never again
