I’ve lived in the Dallas area since 2004. I can now, confidently, say that the best Mexican food is right here in red oak. As authentic and flavorful as it gets. Everything is made right on site–their kitchen is huge. They’ve also got Mexican coke by the glass bottle, which is amazing! Seriously, check them out, wherever you are in Dallas; it’s worth the drive.

We ordered barbacoa and received nothing but fat. We got a few tacos out of this. I wasn’t able to feed my family.

Fajita meat was mostly fat and chewy only one or two edible pieces in the smallest taco I ever had that was more expensive than most the meat had a lot of tough pieces. The barbacoa tacos the meat was tender but had a bad after taste it was not good at all but if you drown it in the sauces they have it will be better . I will never buy from this place again it’s a complete rip off .

I just ordered a breakfast burrito and half a kilo of tortillas de maíz and let me tell you the tortillas are warm soft and fresh and smell so good I didn’t eat my burrito yet. I’ve been to 5 different places searching for bomb tortillas so I don’t have to get my bowl mixer out and make them myself. Finally found my spot!! I’m in love with these tortillas.

We had 2 orders 1 barbacoa, and 1 fajita plate with corn and flour tortillas. I have to say, the plates are a little more pricier than Dallas area but I can understand why. The food was really good and tasted fresh. The rice was really good. I had the guac salsa and that was good too. The beans were good but a little dry. Here are some photos for you to enjoy. I encourage you to go check them out.

This is a great place to get authentic authentic Mexican food! I had a chorizo quesadilla which was delicious and filling. I also had two pastor tacos which were also really good! The green sauce, lime, cilantro and onions made it all the better!

First time stopping here and had a craving for tacos. Ordered chicken tacos with rice and beans….omg the only thing I could taste on the chicken was salt. Beans and rice had no flavor and I guess cheese is extra here. I’ll just drive to Duncanville next time I crave tacos because this was disappointing.

The service is great, food is faster than the flash. Yet fresher than Panera. Really tasty and gives the sense of real Mexican street food.

I hate to give a low rating when the food taste SO good. However, the price:size is NOT comparable. I can’t see paying the prices for such small amounts. There should be no additional charge for an add-on when portion are this small. Don’t think I’ll be back on principle alone

Still love this place but I have noticed that the tamales are getting a lot smaller and the price is staying the same. The tamales we received are the perfect size for children but not really for adults. I will still eat here but may just stay away from the tamales for a bit.
