Great little spot in Cathedral City. Found out they were under new ownership as of 3 weeks ago. Food was so good. The service we received from Victoria was great. Definitely coming back!

On my recent visit to Tortillas Restaurant in Cathedral City, I was genuinely impressed by the whole experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a laid-back gathering. The food was fantastic – every dish bursting with fresh, authentic flavors. I particularly loved the pork burrito, which was tender and packed with savory goodness, but the tacos and sopes were also amazing. The service was outstanding, with the staff being friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The margaritas were strong and refreshing, adding to the overall great vibe. If you’re in the Palm Springs area and craving traditional Mexican food, I highly recommend giving Tortillas a try. I’ll definitely be back!

Wanted to try something New so this is where we went. This was such a pleasant surprise. Service was great and the food was even better. Started with chips, salsa and bean dip. The presentation of the dinner plate made us feel like we were at a upscale restaurant. I recommend this little gem…. delicious!

Nice restaurant we found and very delicious food, especially the pozole and huevos con chorizo. VlNice ambient inside and good service by the personnel. Enough parking spaces and TV and music are great. Enjoy your visit.

The new owners are doing a fantastic job. I ordered the chicken fajitas and I was surprised at the huge portion they brought out. There was enough food for 2-3 people. The homemade corn tortillas, small in size, but oh my they were so good. Excellent service..
Do not pass this place up..

Came here for lunch. We haven’t been here for many years. We ordered a Carne asada taco salad and 2 item combination. Everything looked good, but taste was a different story.

Chips were served with salsa. Some of the chips were stale. The salsa didn’t have any heat and was more like tomato sauce.

The combination had a crispy beef taco and the shell tasted like it had been fried in old oil as it had an aftertaste. The chile relleno has that same old oil aftertaste. Beans and rice were very plain. Disappointing.

The taco salad was very plain too. Carne asada was tough and had no flavor. Lots of lettuce and tomato, but it would have been nice to have a good salsa to compliment. The shell however was good and didn’t have the oily aftertaste. Disappointing.

Drinks were alright. Horchata was good. Iced tea tasted old.

Service was alright as there were busy talking to a regular customer most of the time.

Conclusion: This used to be a great place, but we were very disappointed this time. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

Food quality is above average. You can tell each meal is freshly prepared. Recommended: Chicken enchiladas with tomatilo sauce.
