The owners seemed genuine and were overly kind. Plus the food was incredible and more than I could eat! I got the horchata as well and it was the largest cup I’ve ever seen. 10/10 would recommend.

Okay, hear me out. We came to this place because of the reviews. Now, I will preface this by saying I am from that Rio Grande Valley and we are about 45 minutes from the Mexican border so we got authentic Mexican food out the ying yang.
I came to Waco on business and decided to bring my family here. I tried the Texana and my wife tried the Hawaiiana. My kid had quesadillas. These tortas are huge. I would trade in size for better tasting tortas. My texana torta was just okay. It lacked flavor. My wife’s Hawaiiana torta was incredibly salty. Our total bill was $44 and this includes 2 horchatas and 1 lemonade. The jalapenos had zero zip to them.
The restaurant location is kinda iffy in my opinion and the place was hot inside. There was a couple of flies that kept annoying us. Needless to say, we we’re let down. Lots of potential though. I hope they improve their food and dining experience.

Absolutely delicious! 10/10 would recommend. We enjoyed La Norteña, La Alemana & La Capitalina. There’s a variety of drinks available. Everything was made to order and tasted amazing! Will definitely stop by again during our road trips.
