Nothing but love for Tortas Lore! Friendly staff, beautiful decor, and lovely atmosphere. The rooftop is Baja perfection. We ate, we drank, we listened to live music, and we danced. The cocktails were superb, the food was delicious, and the vibes were impeccable. Particularly recommend the ceviche and mojito, but you can’t go wrong here. Our favorite bar and restaurant in San Carlos!

This turned out to be a good place to eat tonight. Their salsa is Austin hot. So be aware if you are not used to such great delights. The menu is full of the usual suspects. In a town with a great whales trips and fewer restaurants, Tortas Lore was just what we needed.

In most Mexican restaurants, the first thing they bring you when you sit down is chips and fresh-made salsa; here, they brought us fresh-made ceviche and tostadas! Given that this is a fishing town, it makes sense, because the fish is very fresh.
We had some kind of platter that was loaded with seafood, and was so tasty. Definitely recommend this place for lunch. It’s also a bar (small town) for folks who just want to get a drink.
