Love this spot. The tortas are always fresh and loaded, and the fruit drinks are super refreshing. Everything tastes homemade and hits the spot every time. Good portions, good prices, and friendly people. Definitely one of my go-to places when I’m craving something good

I am so sad they closed. I used to come from national City all the way over here to order their Milanesa Torta. I am not exaggerating to say it was the best torta I’ve ever had in my entire life. This was Exactly what I imagined when I think of amazing San Diego Mexican food, there tortas. I was so surprised to find out it was hidden all the way out here in El Cajon. I even had a friend who moved from imperial Beach to Las Vegas and when she came to visit we took her here. She also agreed it was the best torta spot she ever had in San Diego!! The frutas and snack offering were just a plus, tortas is where they stand out. PLEASE COME BACK! NEW LOCATION NEEDED!!!!

Pretty upset. Went in last night just before closing to get a fruit bowl. Asked what was in it was told the ingredients “watermelon, pineapple, mango, strawberries, banana, melon granola and honey” Alright cool I say yes I’ll do that. Order is ready to go in bag. excited to enjoy it. I get home. Open the bag. And there’s chunky white caca in it. Come to find out its cottage cheese. Im immediately disgusted. Had she disclosed the cottage cheese I would have asked for it WITHOUT the cottage cheese. tried to call to leave a voicemail. No voicemail available. Threw the food away and now im out my money and craving for fruit bowls or anything from this place.

I stopped by this restaurant on my way home and ordered a cubana hot dog. The BUN that was used for the hot dog was beyond fresh. I can’t wait to come back and try that popular asada Torta.

I ordered a tuna sandwich from here and a Carne asada torta. For the price of the torta, they could’ve added meat to the whole bottom. It was mainly in the middle of the torta but not enough to spread out evenly across. My Fiancé said it was ok taste wise.
My Tuna however kinda reminded me of bait. The smell of bait was the way it tasted to me. I have had Tuna from many places before, and I’ve never tasted it like this before. I just threw 8 bucks in the trash. I should’ve just made it myself at home.

It was delicious! I had the torsta de Jamon but added panels cheese instead of American as it usually comes. I had a salsa & jalapeños with it on the side so delicious. When i arrived it was empty plenty of chairs and tables to sit they were also clean. The whole stablishment was clean, it kinda was weird that one half of the restaurant was really warm like hot no air flow by the register but the other half was cool & with fans. That’s the only off putting part. Other than that staff was super nice and friendly.

Found this place by accident, and I’m glad I did. The tortas and aguas frescas were very delicious. Employees were nice, and the restroom was clean. Access by key only. This is our new favorite place on the way home from San Diego ✨️ I highly recommend this place.

I saw this place close to the pet store and gave it a try. I ordered fresas con crema, and it was a little pricey. For 2 strawberries and cream drink and some cinnamon chips it was over $27.00, and the granola was extra. The strawberries were still greenish and sour so it changed the mellow of the mix, but, they are very generous with the strawberries. They do have a small selection of foods, but, I haven’t tried any of the selections, maybe next time when I’m in the area. I’d say, try it, and enjoy.
