Fun atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, and really delicious food! They have a happy hour with discounted drinks which I appreciated. The complimentary chips were super crisp, but the guacamole is the shining star in my opinion! The only item I had that I thought was less than stellar was the tres leches cake. I can’t put my finger on what it was, but it definitely is lacking something. Almost like it was the wrong kind of sweet. But I would certainly go back!

After traveling all day to our RV destination, My husband surprised me with dinner at this location.
The staff was quick and very kind. The food was served fast and hot looked and tasted incredible. I will be back for more while in the area. Price was at a good point for the quality.
We mostly drink water going out and I do check that too. And it was with in good standing as well. Anything between 300-500 is questionable. And they were at 114. So good.
I so appreciated this meal and service after our long day. Loved the decor & atmosphere. We got the last parking space that would fit our large Ram truck.
Highly suggest you try.
Don’t forget to tip your servers.

The staff were nice and the place had a good vibe. My girlfriend loved the tacos. My torta was good. I got the Torta de Fuego and I had my hopes up of this being the best thing I’ve ever had as it had the same name as the restaurant but alas my hopes got the best of me. It was good but not great. Wish I would’ve got the tacos! Maybe next time.

The food was delicious. Could NOT believe the portions for the price, absolutely fantastic bang for your buck! I got the Fajita Taco Salad, my husband got the #4 Combo, my 13y/o got the Carne Quesadilla, and my 10y/o got the Chicken and Cheese Kids Quesadilla with Rice. It did take almost half an hour to get our food, but the meal was great.

My first time eating here. I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas, and they were delicious. The salsa was also very good, nice and thick, and full of flavor. It appears that everything is hand made … Certainly the items I ordered were hand made, including the chips, salsa, mole sauce, michelada mix (I watched the bartender squeeze 30 or 40 limes to make make a very large batch of the michelada mix. She said it would last about 4 days), etc. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend the restaurant.

As my faithful followers know, I’m on a lifelong quest to find the best chimichanga that planet Earth has to offer. My quest led me here, to Tortas de Fuego, in Sedona.

It was difficult to order a bean and cheese chimichanga, but eventually the staff figured out how to make it work. It sounded complicated, and the waitress was having a significant amount of trouble, but I’m grateful for their efforts. Eventually they figured out how to make it work.

As for the chimi itself, I’d give it a respectable 9 out of 13 on the universal 13 point scale of chimichanga deliciousness. It was a bit flat and underfilled, to be honest. And the cooks didn’t let the oil drain adequately, which meant I was left with an oily chimi. Such a shame. The flavors were on point, the presentation was beautiful, but the execution was lacking in a big way.

As for the staff, they never brought me a water. Yikes! It felt like I was an annoyance, not a customer. No one brought me chips and salsa (not sure if they are free or if I needed to pay for them, but they weren’t offered to me).

Customer service was poor to mid. Food was mid. Chimi was delicious, but I was made to feel like a villain for ordering it without meat. My search for the world’s best chimichanga continues, and Tortas de Fuego doesn’t make the cut.

This is a hidden gem we found in Cottonwood, came highly recommended by hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered my go to atvother places red chile enchiladas and they added some nice things like cream cheese, avacado and oaxaca cheese to my plate making it very tasty and the second plate was chcken with mole that had some amazing flavor combinations. We started the meal with an appetizer, fried calamari and that was awesome as well. The food was moderately priced. My grandson ordered a quesadilla with french fries and enjoyed that as well.
The waiter was friendly and accomadating. We encourage anyone to try this great place.
