The food is always good here. I think that the “pad see you” was subpar and looks like it too. The Thai tea is on the sweeter side which is enjoyable after the ice settles a bit. The reason it is not a 5 is because of the service. There was little to no service provided. Long waits to put in orders even though the restaurant was quite empty. Maybe 3-4 other tables. The interactions were brief, the server didnt introduce themselves, the nicest person was the man cleaning our table. Kind and funny! The wings are so good, well cooked and everything came out hot. Overall, would come back, the pros out weigh the cons, definitely.
The waitstaff was uncoordinated and confusing: several people approached our table to take our order after we had already done so, and then returned with another table’s food. And I don’t think I’ve had such an uninterested, apathetic welcoming. We only went there because they were open late and our preferred place had just closed.
So YRMD but there are better places….I think if I was more interested in the cocktails and teevees I would have had a better experience, but that’s not my thing.
Restaurant was getting full, can’t get seated until entire party has arrived. Parking is horrendous because the main drag was closed due to a fair. Inside Restaurant is nicely decorated (no photos, being mindful of guests) and outside seating was interesting. L shape, had the table close to the street. Closer to the entrance of the restaurant is preferred. Otherwise, you will be the forgotten table…which we were, but in their defense they were slammed. Orders seemed more like for individuals instead of family style (sharing).
Orders came out as they were prepared. Food was all lightly seasoned, on the mild side
Bartender was delivering drink orders. Had the most personality and character.
When we left, a dj was setting up near the fire pit.
Be aware: when tips for large parties are added by the server, it is also taxed. It shouldn’t be.
The room is hard increasing the background noise level. While the server was excellent, they served the main entree just minutes after the appetizers which made the table a bit awkward as we sorted thru everything.
