Amazing experience and delicious food! We were lucky to walk in last week, grab seats at the bar without a reservation, and had no wait at all.

Our bartender gave us excellent recommendations. The New York–style cucumbers were refreshing. The pasta was outstanding. The chicken was good, and the mushroom sauce was delicious, but I wish it had been served on top rather than underneath as it didn’t quite coat the chicken as well as it could have.

The date cake and affogato were both fantastic and the perfect way to end the meal.

One of the hottest reservations in NYC, this Italian spot absolutely lives up to the hype. If 10 p.m. is the only reservation you can get, take it. Trust me, you won’t regret dining there, even that late at night.
From the moment you walk in, the restaurant sets the tone with its effortlessly chic interior. The space feels stylish but not intimidating, with warm lighting, elegant textures, and just the right amount of buzz in the air. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be on a night out in New York.
The service is equally impressive. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited about the food, which only adds to the experience. You never feel rushed, yet everything flows perfectly throughout the meal.
And then there’s the food, my god! Every dish that arrives at the table feels like a delightful surprise. Each bite somehow manages to be better than the last. The flavors are rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced, showcasing the magic of Italian cuisine with a refined touch. I will for sure dine here every time I’m in town.

Torrisi NYC literally exceeded my expectations in every possible way, and I’ve returned quite a few times because it never disappoints. From the moment we walk in, Arianna at the front greets us with a warm smile and makes us feel welcome every time, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is the perfect balance of chic and cozy. The service is flawless from start to finish, and the food is everything and more.

To start, the sesame sourdough bread is unreal—so good, I honestly don’t have words for how yummy it is. The tortellini pomodoro deserves a 100/10 if I could—literally melts in your mouth, light, airy, and bursting with flavor.

The chicken alla griglia is tender with a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the sauce… unbelievable. The Cucumbers Newyorkese are super refreshing, and the scalloped potatoes are herby, light, and a perfect side—not your classic heavy potato dish.

And the affogato? Chef’s kiss. ‍

Drinks are solid—dirty martini, Aperol spritz, and a glass of chardonnay all hit the mark. On top of that, the complimentary cookies and Italian ice are a fun and delightful addition to the experience.

Overall, Torrisi NYC is exceptional in every way—amazing food, impeccable service, and a dining experience I keep coming back to because it never fails to impress.

Tonight we had our first experience at Torrisi Restaurant, and it was absolutely unforgettable. It was my friend’s birthday, and the entire evening felt so special.

Mark took wonderful care of us — his recommendations were spot on and truly elevated our dining experience. Every dish was exceptional.

Torrisi gave us a completely unique and memorable culinary experience. Thank you to the whole team, and especially to Mark!

Celebrated my birthday at Torrisi last night and it was perfect in every way. Upon arrival you are struck with the beauty of the restaurant itself, it’s gorgeous! The staff is extremely attentive and definitely aim to please. Now for the food review! I usually don’t like eating Italian food out because I’m a very good Italian cook BUT this food was on another level. We basically tried almost everything on the menu and each dish was more spectacular than the last. The dishes that left me craving for more was the cucumber salad, prosciutto and zeppoli with pineapple jam, and bao buns. Now for the pastas, the tortellini pomadoro was exquisite, the Jamaican Cavatelli to die for and the other pastas we ordered were also good but not on the aforementioned level. The Dover Sole and the Chicken were good but could not compare to the appetizers and pasta dishes. The desserts were worth saving a bit of room for, the Affogato a clear winner, the cheesecake was good and the special apple bun was delicious. Torrisi is a real winner, don’t miss it!

I’ve been wanting to try this for so long and they definitely delivered. I’m so impressed. The inside is gorgeous and the bar is incredible. I got the ham appetizer and it was a fun way to eat. The tortellini is probably the best I’ve ever had. It just melts in your mouth

Best of the best in New York City. Impressive crowd, understanding service and a charm to be there. Be thoughtful on what to order, flavors are numerous and choices have to be made well. Out of the larger glamorous restaurants in the city this one did impress. Only small issue is how there are only two bathrooms, otherwise its amazing.

Torrisi is by far one of my favorite restaurants. Everything is absolutely exceptional—the food, the atmosphere, the service, and the drinks. If you’re anywhere near the area, this place is a must. Make your reservation well in advance because they’re almost always fully booked; last time I checked, availability was nearly a month out. That said, it is 100% worth the wait. Do not miss it.

We had a fantastic experience at Torrisi. We put our name down for walk-ins and the team was able to accommodate us without much of a wait. The staff was warm and attentive and the food was incredible from start to finish. Every dish was full of flavor and the atmosphere made the whole evening feel special. We left already talking about what we want to order next time. Highly recommend!

I understand the hype. Wallked in at 6pm on Wed and got a seat at the bar at 7.
The amberjack crudo imported daily from Japan was so fresh and melted in my mouth. We tried 3 pastas, the truffle tortellini (a daily special), the jerk cavatelli, and amatriciana. All of them were absolutely delicious, probably the best truffle pasta I’ve had (mind you, the tortellini portion in the pic is half of the dish).
Finished the night with the affogato, with shaved ice which was a solid 10/10.

Can’t recommend enough if you have the patience to wait, or lucky enough to get a reso!
