It’s what I was looking for when I came to Boston. A family owned business not trying to rip you off, but with good food. Has the small business atmosphere with history inside. This is my favorite all around sweet spot. And no I haven’t had everything on menu but I’ve had enough to know good pastries and homemade ice cream.

Conveniently located just steps from the Beachmont stop on the MBTA Blue Line, it’s incredibly easy to get to whether you’re a local, coming from Boston, or just passing through the area.
The variety here is impressive. From classic Italian pastries and baked goods to an excellent selection of slushes, Italian treats, and wonderful ice cream, there’s something for everyone. I pre ordered a cake for my first year engagement celebration at this location. They said they would be able to make it look like the picture I provided. Boy was I wrong. When I got there I realize after I left and got home that they forgot about my cake. Not only did they forget about my cake they rushed to make it. I got home opened the cake to udder disappointment. Reason I couldn’t open it at the location was because they wrapped it in extra twine to hide the cake. The letters were off center and none of the frosting on he side was put correctly. The words looked like a kindergarten wrote it and it wasn’t even shaped like a heart. They even tried to charge me more because it was heart shaped. I will never be going to this establishment. I opened the cake to multiple people laughing. I have never been so mad and embarrassed in my life. I will remember this cake for ever as not only a joke but complete robbery. DO NOT ORDER HERE. Thank you for this abysmal cake.

Nailed the lobster tail! This place has been around for a while and the quality of the food has always been spot on and it still is. Everything is always so fresh and the service is friendly. I drive 40 min to go there over going to the bakery down the street

What can I say about this place?I used to come here about 10 years ago. A lot has changed. I ordered a birthday cake for my son.The woman in the back took twenty minutes just to engrave his name in the cake. Something in my gut told me Something was wrong when I got home.The name was not even engraved on the cake but stuck to a piece of plastic. The way she packed my pastries.Was upside down. When I came to return the cake for the intact, they would not accept the return, which absolutely infuriated me.So I decided to destroy the cake myself. When you enter, there’s nothing but Hispanic music playing.This is no longer an italian bakery. Service has gone down , so has the quality. For now, reimbursing me for the cake.I’ll be seeing you in small claims and also disputing it on my credit card charge. I am also calling immigration customs enforcement to check the papers on the employees.

The food is great. Deserts are almost authentic Italian. Take away dinners are wonderful with superior soups and meatballs. The coffee is more American than Italian. Breads are really good. Prices are okay and staff is always helpful.
