This place has always been excellent but there are some things going on with the tacos that the owner should address, as it’s a complaint with locals. The taco meat isn’t seasoned like it used to be and it is dry and gets cold very quickly telling me it’s cooked ahead of time and then quickly warmed up on the grill. They can’t warm it too much or it will overcook and there lies the problem. Chop the meat smaller and cook it on a hot grill when it’s ordererd and for the love of all that’s holy please season the meat… then you will again be selahs favorite taco place!

I asked for a burrito. They asked me if I wanted a California burrito. I said no, I want a pork burrito. When it was done, they rang me up for a California burrito with pork. I didn’t want to have to wait for another burrito, so I paid and I just figured it would be a good burrito and I would taste the difference. It was very disappointing. The avocado tasted bitter. The meat was scarce and dry and unflavorful. And for a $15 burrito, I expected something sizable or flavorful and I got neither of those things. It will be the last time I go to Toro taco and it used to be one of my favorite little places. I hope that the additional $3 is a nice way of saying goodbye.

Normally, this would be a five-star all day long. For a couple of years when I got a chance I would stop in and get the carne asada tacos. However, this time the meat was old and dry with very little flavor, and the little salsa station was gone. Hopefully it was just one of those days, but I’ll be back because the tacos are that good

Dine in restaurant quality food with takeout process due to it being in a gas station/ mini market location. There is a place to dine but it’s not a good environment to sit and really enjoy a good meal. I would rate the service & atmosphere higher with improvements – please stop using styrofoam food containers, use biodegradable plastics/straws, and clean the tables regularly.

Best friendly fast service around. The food was amazing, fast and fresh! The asada fries are also bomb, and they’re prices are very reasonable! I had been seeing advertisements for awhile, but live in the Mabton area so it took awhile to get there. It was well worth the trip, and certainly will be returning there often. We appreciate your fast-friendly service, it’s hard to find these days. Customer service at it’s finest. Highly recommend your establishment! Thanks again!

I’m surprised this place has so many good reviews considering the reputation I’ve come to find out it has with the health department but I ordered from there a pork burrito and right away didn’t think the meat tasted right, didn’t eat any more of it but ended up with a terrible case of food poisoning. Also never been to a place that straight up puts meat and only meat in their burrito which I don’t find appetizing either. Over all bad experience.
