My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent… edamame, tuna avocado salad, Congo roll, New York roll, tuna roll and salmon roll. Service was wonderful. We weren’t rushed and food came out quickly. I’m definitely bringing my husband here the next time we visit my sister.

Great sushi spot in the area! I’ve only ordered out from here and place my order in advance over the phone. The staff is very friendly upon arriving and have had no issues as far as food quality and order accuracy. The food is excellent and I personally really enjoy their brown sugar boba. Tastes fantastic and always look forward to getting one! I’ve only order rolls from here so I can’t speak to their other items but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you’re looking for sushi and some good boba!

Came into Toro after passing it quite a few times driving by. Really glad we stopped in. Shame that it’s a bit off the beaten path as more people need to try it.

I ordered a Poke Bowl with avocado, salad, and yellowtail, etc. unfortunately interspersed with the salad was Wasadi and I almost died. Wasadi is green like avocado and has a similar consistency; but it burns like a firecracker. It should never have been in the Poke Bowl. Otherwise the food was just average.

My friend found Toro Sushi through Groupon 7 years ago, and we loved it so much we keep coming back ! The rolls are amazing! The tea is also something to wrote home about. Fabulous staff & fresh fish ! Highly recommend !

I’ve ordered from Toro Sushi several times and stopped in for dinner a few years ago. I wanted something fast but a luxury treat after my work shift last week, so I ordered delivery for the Tekkadon. Outstanding. Fresh, delivered fast, and as flavorful as you’d expect from one of the highest-rated Sushi and Asian restaurants in Montclair. I have tried a lot of Asian fusion cuisine and love trying new country and regional styles besides sushi. So, the tuna is remarkable when you consider returning a week later and leaving a review. If you want some of the freshest tuna, sashimi, and much more Japanese cuisine in our area, they deliver, and the restaurant interior is lovely. ♥️

If you are looking for Authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi, this is the place to go! The staff is amazingly nice and quick at their service. Some may say the wait is long, I disagree as you must realize it takes the chef and sushi master to do what they do best, and that’s a quality dish. I ordered their special black snapper which was one of the most memorable dishes I had in long time. Fresh and delicious along with the other sashimi dish I ordered. I would recommend this place to any and all my friends.
