Had such a great experience at TORO!! First, the manager Jen and server (maybe Daniella… second guessing that lol) were AWESOME! So friendly, helpful, and funny. I have very high standards for my birria so I was hesitant to order their birria quesadilla but WOW did it meet my standards! It was excellent. In addition, I had the chicken enchiladas, which were also delicious!! I would highly recommend visiting TORO if you are in the Albany area!

My friend and I came right after work for dinner not realizing service didn’t start until 5. We ended up at the bar for happy hour and instead ordered some small plates to share and a margarita. The taco dip was underwhelming and I felt I could easily make better at home. The chips however had a really nice seasoning on them that was delicious. We also ordered the drumsticks which were good, nothing special to note. We finished with the churro cart which is an absolute must try. The churros were fresh and delicious and I absolutely loved the berry sauce that came with it. The bartender was great and super attentive. Would come again and just stick to dinner options.

Friday night, we had a reservation and this was definitely worth stopping in for dinner. Food and service were great. Presentation for all of the meals was impressive all except the pitcher of margaritas come out in a plastic picture. We went with two other couples and one of the entrees came out cold and the waitress was fast to solve the problem with a new hot dish and a free appetizer to have while waiting. The place has a cool modern upscale vibe. We orders the nachos as I wanted to see the presentation, it didn’t disappoint. By far my favorite app was the empanadas. They have a good amount of items to choose from on the menu. The margaritas were good. Overall this is a spot to try you won’t be disappointed as the portions are big and the food was delicious.

I ordered a Chicken Fundido and rice dish. It was very good and the service staff were helpful and friendly. It was a little difficult to hear each other with background music. It was not very loud, but just loud enough to make conversation difficult.

Amazing! Great food and well the Bull with 5 shots! Such a great time, amazing service, good vibes all around. The food truly was spectacular. I had the Chipotle salmon and the fish was cooked wonderfully – not overdone as some places are want to get when the fish has a warm sauce on it, it can keep cooking after, but this was done just right! Loved it and will deff be back.
