Came here in Denver with clients of mine who split time between here and 30A and this was their go to recommendation. Glad I listened. Toro is a great spot right in the heart of downtown Denver. The space is clean and lively without being loud. Food came out fast and everything we ordered was really solid. The small plates were easy to share and the cocktails were well made without being complicated. Nothing felt rushed and nothing felt forced. Service was relaxed and attentive and the whole experience just felt easy. If you are staying anywhere near downtown and want a dependable dinner spot with good energy this one is worth stopping into.

This is not a lomo saltado. Please change the name of it. Peruvian traditional dish Lomo Saltado is not even close to what you offer.
Flavor was ok. Too much fried stuff on top of the meat. And the rice was more like a risotto. No potatoes, so definitely not a lomo saltado. Paid $45 for this and I was not happy with it.
Desserts were ok.
I ordered a pisco sour. It was good.

Nice atmosphere, great vibe. The restaurant is beautiful.
Food is good, everything we tried was good, small portions. Maybe a little overpriced.
Service could be better, somewhat emotional absent, maybe because was a busy weekend night.
Great drinks.

We had an amazing dinner at Toro at Clio Hotel on February 8th, 2025. From the moment we were seated, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between elegance and comfort.
The food was nothing short of exceptional—every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with bold, unforgettable flavors.
What truly made our experience special was the outstanding service. Our server, Marcus, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cherished. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and genuine hospitality made our evening even more enjoyable.
Toro delivered an incredible dining experience, and we can’t wait to return!

We’ve eaten breakfast at Tori for three days. All the food was well prepared and very tasty. Service was excellent. Large fruit bowl was great. We had drinks one evening and again service was tops.

Can’t wait to come back! The peaceful, intimate setting made it all the more enjoyable, and the service was genuinely perfect-friendly, quick, and professional. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and flavorful, they could stand on their own. The grilled octopus was a standout-crispy edges, melt-in-your-mouth inside, and seasoned to perfection. But the lobster quesadillas stole the show: decadent, flavorful.

Toro is a relatively expensive in-hotel restaurant with great vibes and energy – but mediocre food.
Pro’s:
* Great energy vibe
* Helpful service
Con’s:
* High prices , add $14 plus tip for valet parking. My total bill for one person was $150 including tip (excluding the parking).
* The food: :/
Ceviche: Seemed like it had been pre-prepared. Heavy on mangos / vegetables, light on fish. Quite small. 5/10
Steak: Dry-aged Ribeye for $80. Was excited to try an $80 steak and very disappointed with what I got. The meat quality didn’t seem great and had a very high amount of fat.
Served on a red-hot sizzling platter to the point that the table’s wood had to be protected. Sizzling hot grease spattered all over my clothes and skin at very high temperatures.
I get this is supposed to be “special” but it’s really more “dangerous”. Ended up burning the inside of my mouth too. Really a huge not-fan of the red-hot sizzling plate of meat spattering hot grease all over me. Flavor of steak was not great either, extremely salty.
In-summary, a good choice if you are staying at the hotel, but I can’t imagine driving here to eat outside of a hotel stay (on an expense account $$$). I’d avoid the “hot spattering grease” plates of steak or ask they be cooled in the kitchen for safety.

We came to Toro to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. The menu was creative and ingredients fresh, our server was very polite and attentive (made sure our friend felt special on her birthday), and the overall atmosphere was very calm, intimate, and enjoyable. The prices were a bit steep, but we were happily surprised that portion sizes were substantial! We would definitely come back for date night or special occasion again.

I’m so grateful to have had the experience of dining at Toro! My partner and I went for brunch. We sat outside on a warm day but the buildings surrounded us prevented too much sun coming down on us which was a plus. We took on the bottomless brunch which was 100% worth it! In addition we got the bottomless bebidas which was an additional cost but not a problem because it covered any bottomless bebidas listed if you wanted to mix it up here and there. Antonjitos were unlimited. They served us each dish and we HAD to order more of the Bison Skirt Steak Anticucho because it was SO GOOD! It was phenomenal! Everything was great! Arranged beautifully and tasted amazing as well! I’ve never had bee pollen (on the fruit plate) or bison so those were both new food experiences that I got to enjoy. All four Antojitos were shareable amongst two people but they gave you each a fruit plate. My partner ordered the Churrasco & Eggs while I got the Chicken & Waffles! They were both great! Not much food was left on our plates because it was all so good.
