A great choice for Mexican food in Enterprise. Their cheese dip is a great starter – better than most quesos I’ve had. The Chimichanga Fundida was delicious, the chorizo flavor really came through. I wish it came with sour cream and fixins, but it was still good. The Pechuga’s was a great value and had a great taste to it.

I’ve eaten at Torero’s in Enterprise, AL several times over the years, and overall it has consistently been a good place for Mexican food. The service is very good, and the main entrées are usually spot on. On most visits, the food has been flavorful, well-prepared, and served promptly. The atmosphere is fine, and the Latin music adds a nice, authentic touch to the dining experience.
That said, my most recent visit had a few noticeable drawbacks that I hope management or ownership will consider addressing. The biggest issue was the tap water. The chlorine taste was extremely strong, honestly off the charts, and made it unpleasant to drink. Installing a simple chlorine filter would make a huge difference and significantly improve the overall dining experience.
The chips and salsa were also disappointing this time. The chips weren’t great in quality, and thinner white chips would be a much better option (similar to Chili’s chips). The salsa itself lacked flavor and was not enjoyable, which is unfortunate since chips and salsa are often the first impression at a Mexican restaurant.
One small operational note: there is plenty of staff working, which is great, but at times several employees tend to group up near the main entrance and counter area, which can feel a bit crowded.
I’m leaving this review because I genuinely like this restaurant and have had many good meals here. With a few improvements, especially better water filtration and higher-quality chips and salsa, Torero’s could be even better. I hope this feedback helps, and I look forward to future visits.

The seasoning was just right and not salty. I really enjoyed the food, though the portions were a bit small.

We enjoyed our dinner there. The food taste really healthy and fresh. They also have a fast service and service crew are really friendly. We will come back again.

The food is excellent. Best cheese dip and enchiladas around. Our server,, Linda, almost ran anytime we were about to need something. My glass never was more than half empty before she topped it off again. Best service anywhere in a long time.

I was so disappointed. Carne asada is supposed to be skirt steak. You know a little fat to sizzle on the flat top. I got overcooked and underseasoned sirloin. No salt, no seasoning, and rough. The best parts were the refried beans and the fries.

Would eat here again! The food was amazing and didn’t have to wait long for the food! And the waiters were amazing too! Very friendly and nice!

First off, the micheladas are okay… I’ve had worst and would get these again (and add additional sauce myself). Salsa was bland but the food was great. The dishes aren’t Mom and pops Mexican but it’s so much better than basic tex Mex taqueria. They even have tortas (a favorite of mine), carne asada, and a molcajete.

So as we walked up it smelled very nice. When we walked in it was dark and just kinda a odd setup. We sat at the bar and well it was odd because they lady behind the bar did not say hi tell us about any drink specials or nothing. We asked for a drink menu they did not have one. We both had waters and I had a 21oz margarita. Which was pretty much the worse thing I’ve ever had. It was all sweet and sour mix. We started with a fundido which was a white queso with ground sausage on it. Like literally it was just cheese that was topped with this it was not good and the chips were stale. When are food came out mine came out a few minutes ahead of my wife’s which was odd again. And this stuff looked like something you would get at a cafeteria. I had the number 1 dinner. Two enchiladas and one taco with rise. Not very good. No flavor and my wife had a chimichanga which was the smallest we’ve ever seen at a restaurant and again not much flavor. Will not go back and would not at all recommend this place. They did not even come back to check on us. Go somewhere else if you have a choice . They really should take the fine out of there name
