We ordered black beans with the rice instead of refried beans which were well seasoned and delish! The fish tacos where large and tasty but a little sweet, which was unexpected. The beef was tender and seasoned well but we really enjoyed the spicy jumbo shrimp. Overall, the food and service was good and we all enjoyed our food. My son consumed his chicken tacos before I could take a picture!

Stopped by Toreros at The Landing in Renton and honestly had a pretty solid experience. Got the carne asada and it did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, like genuinely a big plate, which I always appreciate when you’re actually hungry. The flavor was decent and hit the spot. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s the kind of meal where you finish it and think “yeah, I’d definitely get that again” and that says a lot. For the area, it’s a good spot to know about. I’ll be back and will probably order the exact same thing without even looking at the menu. Sometimes you just find your go-to and stick with it!

Good food great service. Love the chips and salsa appetizer and the freshly made tortillas. Been a long time customer even at their previous location. Never disappointed.
One of the few Mexican restaurants where I can get Menudo anytime and it’s always been great.

We were happy that the restaurant was open until 10 pm, mid-week. Our server Janet was prompt, friendly, and attentive. I ordered a molcajete – a heated, stone bowl overflowing with meat, veggies, shrimp, and semi-melted cheese, swimming in a tasty, mild red sauce. I would have preferred it to be more spicy. These were surrounded by ample portions of chips with salsa, corn tortillas, guacamole, and sour cream.
The background music was muted, not obtrusive. However, several times waiters brought freshly washed stacks of tortilla holders from the kitchen to a storage site on the periphery of the spacious dining area. That detracted from the tranquil ambiance of the evening.
Nonetheless, it was a pleasurable, quite affordable meal. And of course, there was still plenty of leftover food to take home.

Torero’s is a longtime neighborhood favorite of our family. The food is always very good and the service is friendly and typically fast. We still love watching the fresh tortillas being made and enjoy the big margaritas. I think the thing I have noticed the most, though is that the prices have just gone through the roof and I feel anxious bringing my family here because most of the entrees top $20. Today no one offered us a child’s menu and it was just me and her. Two entrees and two drinks were $64 and change. No, they don’t charge for chips and salsa, but I sure would appreciate a bigger variety of price points. Also, the tab went down with our boxes and no one offered dessert. Also, parking is tough at the Landing and on a busy Saturday night we had to walk in the rain even with a decent parking spot. Ups and downs, and mostly always a good experience, but no coupons except this one for 15% off if I did a review. Solid Mexican restaurant, a little tough on my pocket book. With tip it will top $75 for me and a 12 year old. Ugh.

The food here is delicious and authentic Mexican food. Service is good. I am a fan of the chicken tortilla soup. I would like to give a five star rating however, I witnessed a server grabbing the flour tortillas with bare heads during the dinner rush instead of using the tongs provided. This was not hygienic as he was handling payments and touching all sorts of surfaces. I am slightly hesitant to go back due to this incident however; when I do, I feel “safer” ordering the soup though I would really like to try the other foods.

Took a group to Toreros while in town. Nice little Mexican restaurant. Service was fantastic very fast very prompt. Menu had many options and we picked several. Food came hot and smelled delightful. Food was good. Recommend a stop if you in the area.

Went with a big group of people 10+ and they were pretty stingy with the salsa, 1 salsa to share between 4 people is ridiculous! I asked for more salsa and they only gave us 1 additional bowl. Chicken and shrimp fajitas was good.

Good food, service, and drinks. For being a “chain” Mexican restaurant it’s good food. I really enjoyed the blanco burrito. Chips, Salsa, and beans are served at the table. For Gluten allergy people- were told chips are not re-deep fried and are gluten free. The restaurant can get loud at times making conversation a little hard. Other than that, is on the corner down at the Renton landing. Parking is hit or miss in the road, so you may have to park in parking lot or garage and walk.
