First time to this chain, and looking forward to the next. Unique combination of flavorful ingredients and variety of tacos selections with clever names mean there’s something for everyone. I had the Trailer Park (chicken) and Crossroads (brisket). Both were very good, but the brisket was especially delicious. Also noticed the appealing breakfast menu, and hope to be able to try that sometime. Reasonably priced and good value for the money.

While the food is top-notch, this is definitely not a place that I would go to if you’re wanting a quick meal. We waited for a good bit of time before receiving our food but when we did, let me tell you, the food made up for the time spent.

We had two meals here during our weekend visit to Lubbock! They had several vegetarian options which I appreciated. The standout to me was their Green Chile Queso that came with perfectly thin and crispy chips — I could eat this everyday so do yourself a favor and get some when you eat here.

Torchy’s tacos has awesome food as always. Best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had I highly recommend them. The customer service was pathetic though the lady taking our order was extremely rude to our group and a friend tried to be nice and friendly to cheer her up figuring she had a rough work day but after those efforts she still treated everyone poorly and I’m sure we weren’t the only group that got this same customer service. Very busy around lunch time expect a line to the door.

I’d give this place a 0 in Customer service if I could. A couple of weeks back we had this place’s manager, Zane, agree to providing about $100 worth of tacos for a non profit organization that I am a part of. When we went back on the day of the camp to pick up the food, this place acted like no verbal promise was given and wouldn’t provide the food. Given our lack of time in finding a cheaper place (we had hungry waiting kids), I paid out of pocket for food for 16 kids from here. Totally unprofessional and frankly heartlessand I never got an apology. I haven’t been back since. However, velvet tacos fulfilled their promise so graciously. I recommend going there- it’s right across the street and they have better food and service.

The food was delicious. The service was friendly. However, they had trouble getting our order correct and out all at the same time. Our queso was delivered to the wrong table and we got our tacos before we got our queso. They were polite, but it was less than ideal. Good value for the quality of food.

Food was very good. I like mine a little spicier than what they served, but definitely good eating. The staff was running through their paces, but wasn’t very friendly. It wasn’t very busy, which surprised me. What surprised me was that the patrons were friendly. I got more hellos, and smiles from the patrons than the folks that work there. Still the food was the objective and that was legit.
