Thank you Victor for being very friendly and making sure we were taking care of while waiting for our pick-up order. The staff is super friendly here. The place is nice, clean, attractive and family friendly. The churros are the best I have ever had. They were so nice, warm and light fluffy crispness to them. So yummy!!!! The food is also very delicious. I ordered 2 family packs plus extra sides and we still had leftovers. My family enjoyed it so much. The tortillas both corn and flour was freshly made. Again thank you Victor and the sweet lady at the register. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. This restaurant is def 5 stars.

If I had to choose one meal to represent the peak of human civilization, I would nominate the Trailer Park Taco at Torchy’s Tacos without hesitation. I’m not exaggerating when I say this taco has permanently altered my standards for food—and possibly my outlook on life.

First, the taco itself. The Trailer Park comes with crispy fried chicken that is somehow both shatteringly crunchy and impossibly juicy. Each bite delivers a symphony of texture: the crisp coating gives way to tender chicken, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla that tastes fresh and pillowy. The green chiles add just the right amount of gentle heat, and the lettuce provides a cool, crisp contrast. But the real star—the thing that should win culinary awards—is the poblano sauce. It’s creamy, tangy, slightly smoky, and so good I would genuinely consider writing it into my will. “Trashy” style with queso? Absolutely mandatory. The molten queso drapes over the taco like a velvet curtain at the finest culinary theater in Texas.

Now, let’s discuss the service, because I need you to understand something: I have never felt so valued as a customer in my entire life. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted like a long-lost hero returning from a noble quest. The staff didn’t just take my order—they curated an experience. It felt less like fast-casual dining and more like I was being inducted into an elite taco society.

The cashier answered my questions about the menu with the patience and wisdom of a seasoned professor of Taco Studies. When I hesitated for half a second about adding queso, they gently guided me toward the correct decision (which, for the record, is always yes). It was as if they could see into the future and knew this choice would improve the trajectory of my entire week.

When my food was ready, it was delivered with the kind of care typically reserved for handling priceless museum artifacts. The tray might as well have been glowing. I am convinced that if I had dropped my taco—which I would never dare do—the entire staff would have formed a coordinated rescue operation worthy of a blockbuster action film.

The dining area was spotless, the vibe was energetic but relaxed, and every employee radiated genuine enthusiasm. Not the forced kind—the real kind. The kind that makes you think, “Wow, these people truly believe in tacos.”

Five stars is honestly an understatement. If I could give this experience a standing ovation, a parade, and a minor national holiday, I would. The Trailer Park Taco at Torchy’s isn’t just a menu item—it’s a masterpiece wrapped in a tortilla. And the service? Legendary. I walked in hungry and left feeling like royalty who had just been knighted by the High Council of Queso.

I will be back. Repeatedly. Possibly tomorrow.

Great atmosphere, kind service and giant tacos but ingredient and prep quality just isn’t there. It’s a shame because a lot of people have great memories of Torchy’s tacos of old and it could be catching a second wind. I guess this is just the new normal for any corporate takeover of a trendy food service establishment. Priority #1 should be not letting a cold tortilla leave the kitchen

The food is excellent, but today I want to highlight something even more important: the service. Leon is outstanding, and he performs his work with a very high level of professionalism. I definitely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant.

The new screens for ordering are terribleeeee and SO slow because no one in line knew how to work them. Sweet baby angel Leon who was the human being working the counter was absolutely lovely and made our experience much better. Please let your great staff people take orders instead of screens….they don’t help anything.

Any time I travel to Texas I make a point of going to Torchy’s (although it’s becoming less necessary to wait, as they seem to be everywhere now).

The bar looked very busy, so I asked if I could order a drink up at the front counter, where there was no wait. They said yes, but it seems like there’s not really an efficient system for getting it to you. You’ll likely have to go up to the bar and tell them what you ordered, which defeated the whole purpose of why I ordered it at the front. I sat at a high-top near the bar and watched one bartender ask who my drink was for after the other made it and just sat it down. He said “I don’t know, it just came through,” so I went over and told them it was mine.

Can’t complain about the service too much, though. One of them had to explain to a girl that the “weird texture fatty meat” on her taco was just the bark yet he still offered to refund it, which was a kind gesture.

Decided to try a couple new (to me) tacos. Got the matator (off the secret menu) and the tipsy chick. Both were good, although I don’t think either was my favorite taco I’ve ever had at a Torchy’s. The matador was definitely my favorite of the two.

This is a great Torchy’s! We had a great time and the food came out very quickly despite how much we ordered. The staff is kind and funny, as well as efficient. Our food was very tasty. The cowboy queso is a must, it was the star of our meal. The guacamole was so creamy and good, if a little salty. I can’t recommend the street corn, it’s a little too charred to get any flavor but burn. As for tacos, the republican is a must if you like a snappy sausage, the fried avocado is a top tier vegetarian option, and the trailer park taco was perfect in every regard. The food was oddly spicy compared to other times I’ve been to Torchy’s, but it wasn’t overly so.

Overall, I will definitely be coming back here whenever I want my taco fix.

Visiting Dallas on business from Scotland. Stumbled across Torchy’s Tacos when looking for breakfast. Turns out to be a great choice.

Tony gave me a lot of help with selecting my food, which was amazing. Particularly liked the spicy sauce, nice heat and great flavour.
