We love the grilled edamame. The mango/avocado rolls and avocado rolls are so good (and good sized).

This was our first time dining here for lunch, and it did not disappoint! There is plenty of parking available, and we didn’t have to wait for a table. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu offers a wide variety of choices at very reasonable prices. The portion sizes were generous and everything was fresh. Our family ordered the lunch combo featuring sashimi, teriyaki chicken, pork tonkatsu, and chicken tonkatsu. We will definitely be coming back!

Food was all flavorless, miso below mid, sashimi awful, roll had fake crab strips on it. Too expensive for yuck.

Stumbled across this place for an early dinner, as I was in the area. I ordered the veggie tempura, miso soup, the hamachi sashimi and the a-roll which I forgot the name…but it was spicy tuna on the inside with albacore on top with a dot of spicy aioli and a jalapeno. The tempura was cooked perfectly and was not oily. There was a good amount of different veggies, two of each…pumpkin, carrots, potatoes, yams, green beans and squash. The cuts of hamachi were very generous and of great quality. The roll had the perfect balance of spicy with “melt in your mouth” goodness! Everything was truly delicious! The venue is nothing fancy and the service is just okay, however, the food is legit.
I overheard one of the food servers chatting with a gentleman who was dining solo, and apparently he was there earlier that day for lunch, and had such a great experience that he returned for dinner!
So glad I found this place, and I’ll definitely be back!

Food here is surprisingly good! ❤️
I ordered a beef teriyaki lunch plate. Meanwhile, my husband ordered Deluxe Chirashi.
Wait was not long. Our hot tea and water were served first, and they are in paper/plastic cups. Thought to myself, to not let this presume anything on how the food will be like. Then, our main course arrived and mine is in a paper plate still but my husband’s is in usual chirashi plate.
My food was just stacked like I was getting food from a children’s party in a paper plate. Where you cram all food into a small plate. But I didn’t let my critique be based on that, so dig in I did. And to my surprise, the beef teriyaki is tender and flavorful. It is seasoned well, and you want to eat more of that beef. Then I eat some rice in between. Oh so great!
The lunch plate includes choice of handroll and I had the Spicy Tuna roll. It is not as pleasing looking, but it is actually really good. Spiciness is not too much, so I taste the tuna really well. It is also fresh. On top of that it also has salad, soup and tempura mix that ca.e with the lunch plate. So overall the food is great. I gave it 5 stars.
Food price is not too much. For 3 orders: my lunch plate, chirashi Deluxe and seaweed salad, all in all it is $51 including tax.
Service is fast, efficient, and professional.
I gave this 4 stars overall experience. Would have been 5 if not of presentatiob. Definitely a notable room for growth. Will try them again in the future! Want to eat that beed teriyaki again! ❤️

Great service, very nice person and very friendly! Pretty good sushi! My husband likes it, and ordered the Salmon Belly (his favorite) again after he tried it the first round. He also likes the skewers. Daughter enjoyed the udon noodles and edamame, as well as the avocado and cucumber roll. The rolls are well priced and they do not skimp on the quantity! The mango roll was yummy. There are quite a few vegetarian options. However, just be aware that if you are 100% strict, sometimes there may be tobiko (fish eggs) found here and there as I’m assuming the same sushi mat and knife were used. I gave those pieces to my husband. There is plenty of parking at this plaza and pretty easy to find. There is one unisex restroom available and kept very clean (good indicator that they keep the restaurant clean and food clean too then!). There is two TVs playing on opposite ends of the restaurant.

I wish I could put more than 5 stars on the food. I am not from California I’m from Indiana and have been to a few sushi places by far hands down this place is amazing. The staff is friendly and the environment is very comfortable.

The quality of the food here is STELLAR! Prices are good. We stumbled upon this place, while looking for tako wasabi. I didn’t realize it wasn’t raw octopus, so I was a little bummed, but the Ankimo made up for it. They had amazing, fresh, DIFFERENT kinds of fish that I LOVED, like sashimi salmon belly, toro, walu, and more! The Tamago (egg) was sweet and delicious! Some of the best shrimp tempura I’ve ever had too! Yum!

This is my favorite sushi place in the Bay Area. My family orders take out from here all the time – they are super quick and have some of the best tasting rolls (for a great price!)

Last time we were here the atmosphere was chaotic and the service was not great. But we gave it one more chance tonight. It’s Friday, and we get it, things can get hectic at restaurants. But there were not that many in-house diners when we arrived. We were sat but didn’t get to order for another 10 minutes before the only server on staff took our order. The only chef there was clearly very busy filling mobile orders that were pouring in, and the server was fluttering about, but very inefficiently. We sat there for the next 30 minutes sipping our drinks ( no alcohol as they’ve had their license suspended—hmmm)…but zero food. We finally got up, paid for our beverages and left because of the terrible service and lack of customer service. Note to owner—priorities! You should take care of the people who bother to come INTO your restaurant. Bye for good!
