Really good sushi here. Some sushi rolls are torched for a couple seconds so I thought that made it interesting and somewhat added a new layer of aroma and flavor but it’s not too much to ruin it. The Pad Thai is also good. They had live music (one guy with a guitar singing soft music). It added a nice touch. We were right in front of him so it was a little bit difficult to hear my date but we managed and I would still prefer that than no music. The rest of the restaurant was fine I’m sure. The first time we went in the summer there was plenty of seating, plus integrated outdoor seating with garage doors which is awesome on a nice day. The second time was winter so outdoor seating was unavailable and there were people waiting on a Saturday night. Both of our drinks were delicious. She got the strawberry mojito I got the mango something and it had tiny slices of some type of jalapeno or chili pepper. It was spicier than I thought it would be but I love spice and it was delicious to me.

Came here for sushi and left with a new favorite roll.
The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and we ordered three sushi sets. The Atlantic roll was a straight 10/10 — such a great combo of flavors, I’d absolutely recommend getting that one. The other sets were decent, but probably not something I’d reorder next time.
Also their mojitos are awesome. We tried a few different versions and loved every one. Not a perfect place, but definitely a very solid spot that’s worth checking out.

Stopped in for a quick lunch today after visiting Sauna House just down the road. Service was wonderful- everyone we encountered was welcoming and very friendly. We started with the steak fries (so yummy) and the chicken fried rice which was amazing. Shared the Queen Charlotte roll (tasty and a very unique flavor combo), Monopoly roll (super fresh), and the Tora Tora roll(absolutely delicious and had a really interesting smoked flavor). We were stuffed but it was worth it. Don’t miss the guava basil mule- a perfectly tropical cocktail which paired well with our sushi. We’ll be back!

This by far is the best sushi I have had in Charlotte in a very long time. I have visited this establishment twice now and received exceptional service. The staff is friendly. The ambience is inviting and the food is delightful. The sushi is so fresh and has so much flavor. The bartenders are amazing. I can’t wait to go back.

The nigiri I got was hit or miss; a few pieces were good (madai in particular), maybe just a little dense with the rice. Something about the scallop seemed off. Uni gunkans were twice as tall as they needed to be with way too much rice – far too big to be a one-bite morsel.
If not for the uni I’d give it a 4. A few small adjustments on the sushi making and it could be a decent spot. Fairly casual, easy to stop in for a quick bite, and it’s nice that they’ll validate your parking for the adjacent deck.

For the most part, everything tasted fresh. The menu options cover the familiar along with some clever creative offerings as well. Service could use a touch of refinement. Very accessible location. Nice open layout that let’s plenty of sunlight in.

We had a great experience! From the cocktails (mocktails) to the sushi, everything was delicious! We had a group of ladies so we all got a starter & a roll then shared so everyone could try. Every single thing we ordered had good flavor combinations! Their staff was friendly & helped us with a few special orders. Good girls night place!

My wife and I ate here around 8:30pm on a Sunday. The vibes are nice and there was no wait time. We ordered the jalapeño poppers (5/5), k-pop sushi (5/5), tofu rice plate (5/5), chicken wings (3/5 – didn’t enjoy the sauce), lemon drop martini & mango mint mojito (5/5).
The manager, Sam, was very helpful, welcoming, and just a good spirit. We’re definitely coming back!!

Tora was super cool and cute, the food was delicious; definitely going back. It’s a great happy hour spot they have daily specials. We came here for my sister birthday, it was nice and affordable. I’ll server Kadek P was awesome. The Indonesian Noodles were perfect, honestly everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to come back!
