I don’t know how to start except jump right in!! This Tops China is the best around!!! The consistency!! The great portions of food!! The flavor, the freshness, the, again, consistency of this restaurant is amazing. I travel from Hull Street Road to Midlothian just to come here. I have tried closer restaurants in my area but I’m always disappointed with my decision. Nothing beats this restaurant. It’s not the luxury of the simple decor of this restaurant, it’s simple in decor but stands well above all else in customer service of their mission on great food for the great price!

Amazing wings and flavor. The perfect seasoning and blend with their dumplings. A great go to for delivery. I grew up in China Town NYC, and this place knows how to make authentic Chinese cuisine. You get it, or you don’t. I recommend this to anyone not looking for bland.

We ordered takeout. The food was made fresh to order and delicious. They were courteous enough to keep their lights on for us 15mins past closing because we were running late to pick up. The restaurant and kitchen (which is in full view from the check out counter) were clean and spotless!
The service was prompt and the cashier polite. Not sure why this place has a 3.9 rating when they deserve a full five star rating!!

Good food. Flavors over time are inconsistent, maybe multiple chefs with their own styles, so some times better than others, but always good. Great egg rolls. Would like to see small soup also included in combos like some other places.

Not great. We ordered General Tao’s Chicken Fried Rice Hot and Sour Soup and Spring Rolls. The chicken was mushy and too sweet. No spice. The fried rice was terrible. It was pale yellow and just tasted like rice with some chicken broth or something and a couple little bits of carrots. The Hot and sour soup was gross. It had a thick layer of oil on the top of it. It tasted just like boullion. No seasoning detectable at all. It was not hot and not sour. Spring rolls were average like frozen ones deep fried.

My parents turned me onto this place and this is the best Chinese food I’ve had in Richmond in my 43 years of life here. It’s consistently good, even the next day! Food always ready in a timely manner, employees are pleasant, place is clean, and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.!

Very good food at a reasonable price. Not the worst place to eat in either. The people are very nice and the food is very consistent, also ready to eat very quickly. Menu is extremely varied, so there’s bound to be something you can eat, even if Chinese takeaway isn’t generally your cuppa. Very very good.
