I eat at various Tops locations but this one is closer to my work. Today I asked if they would cook my fries crispy and they were delicious!! The portion was generous also. The service here is always good for the lunch crowd which is pretty busy.

Last night approx. 8:25pm I visited Tops Bar-B-Q. I entered, approached the counter to order. For approx. 3-4 minutes the teenager and older woman did not acknowledge me. They saw me standing there. The woman spoke and said it’s going to be about ten minutes. I assumed she was talking to me and I stated okay, will you be taking me order. The woman continued walking about and the teenager ignored me. Suddenly a male customer made a statement. He standing behind me, not in line. I’m not sure what all he said, but he said he was trying to help me. I exclaimed to the male customer who I did not know, why was he involved in my interaction with the counter personnel. They male customer started yelling and using profane language towards me. I got out of line and phoned 911. The woman behind the counter presented the male customer who verbally attacked me and made me feel unsafe, started a giggling conversation with him. He departed the store. I exited the restaurant to get his license plate number, but he sped off down Winchester Rd. East. I’m telling 911 all this information as I’m on the phone with 911. I enter back into the restaurant. The woman behind the counter is taking orders of everyone else’s and not stating to them how long it will take and took their order. I reapproach the counter to place my order and the teenager stated to me that he doesn’t have a problem taking my order but that I disrespected a customer. I was taken aback. I could not understand how the entire visit to the restaurant became a disaster. I phone 911 again too ask how long it will take as the male verbal assailant had departed the scene. I asked 911 to cancel the call. I departed the restaurant. BAD KARMA, BAD VIBES. Very strange encounter with stops Bar-B-Q employees.

While it was 4 in the afternoon. The restaurant was clean staff was alert and greeted with a smile as I approached the counter. After taking my order and getting my name from that point on I was referred to by my name given. That made me feel very welcomed and appreciated. Highly recommend this location thank YOU ALL

I called like 10 times, they hung up n my face 8 time. Then they answer and say hold on. I hear a lot of laughing and playing n background.. I don’t even want it no more. Be more professional.. Dang.. this every time.

Usually our food is on point. But not tonight! My husband’s Bar-B-Q sandwich had no Bar- B-Q sauce on it. My turkey sandwich was sloppy because they put slaw on it. I was able to remove most of the sloppy bread, but my husband could not finish his bland sandwich. Do better y’all!

This is definitely a local establishment with multiple venues throughout the Memphis area, this particular location offered the food which was very very good tasting, but the seating area was a dump, in a building that was extremely outdated. I’m not sure if it was because I was the only white person that was sitting there waiting for the food, with people coming in and sitting and waiting for the food I had conversations and just passing by comments that were very polite, but the staff seem to be very dismissive and not very positive in many ways. Again I want to give credit to the food as it was very good tasting.

I ordered jumbo pork combo. The jumbo sandwich looks like a regular sandwich. I am disappointed with the size of the sandwich. Higher prices; smaller portions.

This was the quickest I ever got my food here, new employees. The sandwich was so hot and plenty of sauce but not to much, the meat was so soft and it was a big sandwich!! I put a couple of bites in it before I even knew it. Plus I got the drink free!!!

Don’t order online!! I was very happy and surprised to see that I can order online and pay with Apple Pay. After placing my order, I arrived at the restaurant about 10 minutes after the pick up time. I was told they were out of nacho sauce and brisket. I asked for a refund but they said I had to call corporate. They had just started the first sandwich of the order. There were no customers in the store and I was confused as to why they were just starting.
After waiting another 30 minutes for my order, my large side items were delivered to me small, and the jumbo pulled pork had about a quarter of an inch of meat on it.
If you get a to go order, expect that it’s not going to be right and you will need to explain to them what’s wrong with it.
The store was messy and they were flies everywhere. A overfill trashcan kept the kitchen door open. See attached photo.
